Guys, currently on JB OS 5.0.1. Never tried syncing my phone ever since I JB it. My question is if I sync it with my iTunes now as I need to update my playlist, will it disturb my Cydia downloaded apps?

Cause syncing with iTunes will automatically backup all my apps etc. Afraid that it will disturb my Cydia apps.

Thanks a lot! So in short syncing with my iTunes will only back up all my 'App Store' apps?

Btw what if when there is a new major update (ie: iOS6). As I know, Cydia apps can be backup as well. But this backup is still in the phone right? Unlike other apps is back up in the iTunes.

pkgbackup only backup the list of Cydia apps/tweaks installed and repos. Those list can be exported to dropbox/sugarsync etc, saved in adressbook and so on. The actual apps/tweaks won't be backed up.

How it works:

1. Aptbackup backup the list of apps/tweaks and repos
2. You chose where to put the list
3. Upgrade or restore the phone
4. Jailbreak and install Cydia
5. Install Aptbackup
6. Restore the list
7. Aptbackup will reinstall back all the apps/tweaks thats on the list

Okay! So Cydia's Aptbackup somehow works like Dropbox. Even if it's uninstalled, once install back all the uploaded files remains where it should be.

No idea. That's for my own understanding. Have to wait for frozz's proper explanation.

Yesterday my phone was stuck in the Apple logo screen for 10minutes, and I did a home button + lock button reset. Thank goodness it all turned out fine now; hopefully.

Yes. I did a search and they mentioned that if that didn't work out, have to plug it to the computer and do a restore.

Let's hope that doesn't happen!
