Does anyone know if the jailbreak for the 4S can also break the sim lock?

me no problem try watch youtube video see can or not?

Guys, before i jb my iphone, i juz back up my stuff like contacts and notes to icloud. Lets say, i erase all my data during jailbreaking process, i still can get back my stuff that i've uploaded to icloud rite?

after open the cydia app, the youtube icon is back.. phewwww

jailbreak n unlock is two different thing

this just jailbreak not unlock if not mistaken

I backup in outlook, can restore back after jb

So i can jailbreak first? then do the unlock when it comes out? Coz I'm not sure if i should jailbreak first before unlocking or the other way around?

i assume u r holding a locked set
and currently just using it like ipod

to apply software based unlock like ultrasnow, yes you need to jailbreak first

unless u opt to hardware based unlock like gevey sim

if not mistaken u must only use 405 firmware if not mistaken

Is it a requirement to save the shsh blob? And do i have to backup to itunes first? My ip is quite new.. I don't mind clean restore.

Anyone tried this on iPad 2 Wifi?

If you don't mind clean restore.. then do a restore before running the CLI tool.

hi guys, i have problem with my jailbreak iphone 4. i jailbreak my iphone 4 from 4.3.3 to 5.0.1 by using redsnow B1 last time and everything seems to work fine, but recently im unable to receive call, call out, msg or anything that is related to mobile carrier. i had rejailbreak using B4 (no restore) just now but problem still cant solve. does anyone facing the same problem?

Do I have to plug the iphone into the computer? I'm using a computer without itunes now.. Is that ok? Can jb without itunes?

cli jailbreak dont need itunes
cli need to plug in ur phone to pc

but its safer to backup prior to jb as advised
all troubleshooting method related to
cli need u to restore back with the help of itunes

paid~mine is family line, my dad's line can use no problem, the problem now is like when u calling someone, it will stuck there. anyone having the same problem?
