guys visit this web and download 0.4.3 CLI.
can be use for windows user.
i free my ipad2 already xD
http://blog.iphone-dev.org/post/1616290593...ly-ready-to-pop

and follow this step.
1) Download the file above in step 3, then extract the folder to your Downloads. (Start Menu, your name, then on the left, downloads.)
2) There should now be a folder called: "cinject_0.4.3"
3) Open up CMD and type this (Without "" quotes..): "cd downloads"
4) Then, do: "cd cinject_0.4.3"
5) After so, type this command into cmd.. "cinject.exe -i payloads/jailbreak.mobileconfig"
6) On your device, click on install, and when prompted to type in a password, just click next, with no password in.
7) After so, type this command: "cinject.exe -j payloads"
8) Just wait a little bit. ( Don't freak out, or jizz wink.gif )
9) Now after a few minutes from step 8, now type this command: "execute the command: cinject.exe -w"
10) On your device, after doing step 9, toggle the "VPN" switch on in the settings, in about a few seconds after, it should say error.
11) Wait, then it should restart. Cydia is now installed, and your device is now free!

Added on January 21, 2012, 9:06 pmits easy bro.

1. Backup your iPhone on 4.3.3
2. Download the 5.0.1 firmware from iClarified (links in post #1)
3. Do a shift + restore -- no need to put it on DFU mode. How do I do Shift + Restore?
  - Open up iTunes
  - Connect your iPhone
  - Press the Shift Key and without releasing it press the Restore button in iTunes

4. Wait for the iPhone to restore
5. Once the restore is successful, run redsn0w 0.9.10b5 -- Guide to jailbreaking via redsn0w can be found in Post #1

Once jailbreak is successful, restore your backup

Once backup has been restored, redownload all your Cydia tweaks.
got it bro. downloading the 5.0.1 ipsw now.
so that means im no longer can update just like that from itunes?
will try ur step.

Yes you can but a lot and I mean a lot of people have complained about iTunes failing to download the firmware halfway through the restore process. If you download the stock firmware manually, the next time you want to restore the firmware, you just need to do a Shift + Restore.

You cannot simply update your jailbroken iPhone as the files may have been moved by the jailbreaking process and iTunes will be confused.

A shift + restore wipes the iPhone clean and you start fresh.

but, before this i already download the 5.0.1 using itunes. it ask me to download it or not.
i choose to download. i dont know where is the 5.0.1 that downloaded by itunes is located.
nvm ill still downloading 5.0.1 manually using ur way

Firmware files have an .ipsw extension and can be found at the following locations:

On Windows XP :
Documents and Settings\<User>\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates

On Windows Vista/Windows 7:

On Mac:

Error 20, 21, 34, 37: These errors typically occur when security software interferes with the restore and update process. If you are using a PC, follow this article to resolve this issue.

Taken from Apple's Support website.

You may want to disable any AV software etc and see how it goes.

Check your host file. If you are restoring to stock firmware, you must ensure that the host file is clean (no line with xx.xx.xxx gs.apple.com)

This maybe the case because I remembered you telling me that you managed to downgrade to 4.3.3 which would mean the host file would have been altered in some way to allow for the downgrade.
*
nah, this is my hosts.
what should i remove or edit?

CODE
# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
# 127.0.0.1       localhost
# ::1             localhost
# 127.0.0.1 gs.apple.com
74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com

i did that. i put it into dfu mode, then i restore to 4.3.3 with the host changed to apple gs thingy.

then it failed(it supposed to) and when i tried to kick out of recovery, it failed and stuck in recovery mode. even though im using both tiny umbrella "exit recovery" and redsnow's kick out of recovery.

only when i use the redsnow, it went out from recovery, except that its not usable. the connect to itunes keeps appearing and i can only go to emergency call
*
error code 1 if im not wrong right?
connect to itunes and itunes will help u set ur phone.
