Guys, is it normal that Cydia database updating takes long time?

Databse updating - OK
Done Release - OK
Done Packaging - until now still updating for 40mins ady..

What should i do? Thanks guys..

Err... previously on iphone 4 updating cydia database took about second.. now 4s almost 1 hour ady..

scared leh..

darn..did the update to 5.01 on my iPhone 4.
then did the jb but somehow when i type using keyboard there's another row of white box on top the keyboard asking me to confirm every word i type.. HELP! Iz there any way to disable it?

How to untether jb ipod touch 4g ios5.0.1? I've tried using the redsnow 0.9.10b4 but always failed at the 'waiting for reboot' step. The ipod always just reboot normally without jailbreak. I've already tried more than 20 times but always the same.  I even already tried restoring the ipod to new ipod but still the same. Can anyone help me?

Hi guys..after I jbed my sis iphone 4s some of the icons suddenly went blank. But after a while (or a restart) the icon will go back to its original icon.... is it a bug in iphone 4s or jb problem?

I've followed every step from here n iclarified n other sites but still can't jb the ipod touch. Is there something wrong with this ipod or the redsnow itself? Is there anyone who managed to jb their ipohtouch 4g 5.0.1? can tell me which tood did u use?

I'm not sure if backgrounder is compatible or not with iOS 5.0.1 but that's the tweak that allows you to choose which apps you want to stay open in the background.

Your friend's windows 7 must have iTunes. The Absinthe jailbreak uses the backup/restore exploit. How do you backup and restore an iPhone? You do it with iTunes. If you don't have iTunes, Absinthe will not work.

I accidentally upgraded "winterboard" in Cydia n when I opened the app, it crash.

I'm using...
Version: ios 4.1 (8B117)

and the version of "winterboard" which I accidentally installed/upgraded is 0.9.3903

I'm guessing the above version is not compatible with ios 4.1 and i gotta upgrade to ios 5. But, mine is jailbroken edi n i dun want to go thru any hassle steps to jailbreak it again.

so my question is, where do i get a lower version of "winterboard" as I could not find in Cydia...pls help me...huhu

hey anyone know of a flashlight app that keeps the flashlight on even when the app is closed? but of course the app is running in the background
the thing is, i want to turn on the flashlight then go to a photography app, usually photography apps (e.g. photosynth or pano) they don't have flash function
so i wanted an app to turn on the flashlight then when i switch to the photography app the flashlight is still turned on
so far all the flashlight apps i have tried, when i open the app, the flash comes on, but when i switch to another app the flashlight turns off
any help would be greatly appreciated!
