something very weird happen on my iphone 4 ios 5.0.1. I normally used gevey ultra on my iphone. But yesterday, it show no sim card installed although the sim and gevey ultra is inserted. If i remove the gevey sim and insert sim card only, it show no service. Once i insert back the gevey ultra with my sim card, it show no sim card installed. What the problem ya?

Try insert both, off and on back the iphone. smile.gif

Probably the gevey is dead. You have spare to test?

I have an iphone 4, maxis set running on ios 5.0.1.
My question is, if I jb the device, will it lock the device or something?

i only got gevey pro with me now. But seem it not work with ios 5.0.1. cry.gif

Did you also try your sim card on another phone to see if the sim card is the culprit?

I have jb my ip4 ios 5.0.1 using the first version of redsnow, if I were to jb again (due to ibook issue) using the latest version do I have to restore it first?
If don't have to restore, does all the tweaks that I install from cydia remain?

yeah.. I try the sim in my S2 and it working fine. I dunno is gevey spoiled or phone problem. Afraid to get a new gevey as my gevey ultra just 1 month old. cry.gif cry.gif icon_question.gif icon_question.gif
