Hello guys,
Is adding a wall to make another room in an apartment with a master title allowed without needing to inform the management or making any plan change?
Thank you.

QUOTE(statcomeng @ Jan 15 2012, 07:53 PM) Hello guys, Is adding a wall to make another room in an apartment with a master title allowed without needing to inform the management or making any plan change? Thank you. I think you cannot add a concrete wall. It stresses the floor below at that particular point with additional weight. It is not meant to...dangerous with or without strata title. This is because at the floor below there is no similar wall to support all these walls from bottom to the top. But I think you can add a wood or lightweight partitions. Check with the developer and building managemnet consent is the right thing to do be responsible when living together. Even if you want to change floor tiles you must take out the old tiles and cannot add to its top. Again it stresses the floor. Some allow but there is a limit to the addiional height. No way you can curi puting up a concrete wall without being notice unless got the approval to do a concrete kitchen but curi build the wall. See I give you a way to do something withut the need to inform the management. Same la when we renovate house. We get approval to do a simple reno and then we reno much more and nothing happened.
