QUOTE(majorsinbad @ Feb 8 2012, 02:40 PM) All the best...but I think not many LYN kaki are Merida supporters ...I stand corrected on this... Well not to say that it will be just merida specific shop,it will be multi brand since all the good brand already carried by other shops. If bike selling can't compete with others than still can compete on parts.Cheaper price and good service win don't you agree?I don't mind what people think of merida brand anyway, business is still business and it's still selling good in the market.I thought Pivot KSH bring in? |

QUOTE(wordtalks @ Feb 9 2012, 02:52 PM) i know its me, but my 2k also got a certain speed. You saw the guy cycle slow but the speed is fast i think because that guy using biggest chain ring and smallest cassette.Once it go smooth you dont have to cycle hard to go fast,it's like the bike is pulling you instead of you paddling hard to get it move.My bike is giving me this kind of feel when paddling smooth Last time while i was working, i saw a guy cycle slow but the bike move fast. LOL?? |

QUOTE(wordtalks @ Feb 9 2012, 03:11 PM) Don't think the colour got different when cycling but if the chain itself got problem ie. jam up then it will affect when paddling.Tyre also play a role when cycling. If you use off road tyre to cycle on road then you use more energy.Change the tyre to something suitable on road ie. kenda small block 8 and so from other brand. |

QUOTE(ahchat @ Feb 9 2012, 03:02 PM) planning to buy 9 speed groupset..which 1 more ok? alivio or acera or deore??? I say go for Deore since it's more sturdy than acera and alivio.Difference between epicon x1 and x2 mainly on the weight and also some technology use on the fork itself. You can check their catalogue in the web.n btw, wat is d dfference btween epicon 1 n epicon 2 forks?? Added on February 9, 2012, 3:30 pm QUOTE(wordtalks @ Feb 9 2012, 03:23 PM) lol, i dont mean the colour ah, i mean the material. The material surely got difference for the weight and also the sturdiness.Won't so easy to snap. But maybe other sifu here can confirm back.my tyre some how drift too much, abit botak already, less friction loh, approve or not?? Tyre botak means not enough grip and you'll lose the momentum for the speed. So i guess you know what i mean This post has been edited by Wyldemdd: Feb 9 2012, 03:30 PM |

QUOTE(kindredd @ Feb 9 2012, 03:43 PM) Hi folks, am a newbie to MTBs. hope to get some advice from the otai otia sifus here. Would like to get a new MTB, budget around 1.5k. Am considering a 29' Raleigh Hydra....http://www.raleigh.my/bikes/hydra.html Sadly to tell you that none of the sifus or otai here try the raleigh bike since it's out of their league. But i can tell you 29" bike is a good bike and for a 16" it's look bigger/taller coz of the wheel is 29".For you to make sure it's suit you of not you need to try it out for yourself.Wrong size will make you feel back discomfort and shoulder discomfort.Really love the look and feel of the bike but slightly tall for me...I think I should be looking at a 16" but the Hydra feels like its bigger. Anyone checked out the bike and any comments? Try to save up few more hundred and get yourself a scott 29" or giant 29" or merida 29".The price will be around 1.8k -1.9k if im not wrong. QUOTE(majorsinbad @ Feb 22 2012, 02:18 PM) I think in the forum people dont like Merida cause most of us here prefer Trail/downhill riding....not so much XC style riding... btol tu,Merida not famous/glamour in trail/am/downhill.Only XC yang lebih lebih Which is why most guys here hardly post XC bikes ...Merida seems more XC oriented ..even though they may have Trail/AM/DH (ada ke?)..so not to say Merida really bad la ... For for me I enjoy any MTB riding ...XC also can...but personally I just dont favor Merida ...personal preference loh ... |
