Whats the point of having this speed with that rediculous quota. Sure it's cheap, but it's pointless, I have no idea what these guys are doing, you can't even ride this package for penetration. Very strange business decision.

are you talking about the 100Mbps package? they clearly put the quota in the info, and if there is not a market for that segment, they won't do it. it is a purely business decision, if the market is not there, they wont do it. i am not a time subscriber, i am using unifi, but i can understand why they provide the package, and i think the pricing is okay.

if you want a true unlimited package, just go for their unlimited package that goes up to 50Mbps  nod.gif , which is very fast as compared to unifi

Yes it's clearly stated there. My point is why bother with a high bandwith package with a low quota and a low price, without offering a price for both high bandwith and a higher useage quota. It's a stupid business decision.

The 30 hour boost for 50mbps is for each month or one time only? Anyone can confirm?
*
30 hours, you can use at your discretion. Login to their site, go to boost manager. Choose if you want 1, 2 , 4 or 8 hour block, and it gets deducted from your quota.

they have la, contact their sales team. you can arrange for a corporate/enterprise package. the thing is, for most home users, unlimited quota at 50 mbps is fast enough. maybe down the line when there are better competition out there, time will provide higher bandwith for home users  brows.gif

Thanks bud, I'm on the Astro IPTV package now which is tied to Time. So I'm hoping they adopt Time's new packages, else I'll have to take a look at breaking the TV and Broadband up to different providers again.

The quota will renew every month?

I am from Penang, what area of server you are referring to?

Singapore servers get good ping than TMnet while US/EU may differ.
*
What kind of speeds and pings do you get from US servers?

Average latency is 250ms. Speed? Hard to tell you but I can tell you pretty good like tmnet.

Thanks, I read somewhere ( I believe on this forum ) that Time's routing causes significant bandwith loss to USA compared to TM's routing. But for the life of me I can't seem to find that post anymore.

Yes it depends the routing anyway. I can give you a bad experience:
Download speed from my US VPS is faster on TMnet than Time.

I don't care actually because there is always alternative solution which is free.  cool2.gif

Which VPS service do you use?

I am using the same as yours... Astro IPTV as well

Ah ha. I signed a contract for the 24 mbps, and I got annoyed they then started offering Maxis broadband 30 mbps, at 50 dollars cheaper a month. And STILL no price adjustment on the Time side.
