QUOTE(Scolaris @ Sep 24 2012, 11:46 AM) Something very strange is happening. I live in Domain 2, Cyberjaya. It's a new-ish apartment complex. We have no wired broadband access here. No Unifi, not even Streamyx. I don't think we can even get phone lines here. So a lot of people are fed up and wants to move out. Last Friday though, I see Time broadband posters up near the apartment, offering the unlimited (8/15/something/50Mbps) and 100Mbps packages. So I look up the Time website and see that the apartment is not there in the coverage map. I also called the Time customer service, they say they don't think they have coverage. So I went back and chatted a bit with the Pak Guard, who told me that because of the widespread discontent, the developers are bringing in Time broadband to prevent people moving out. And it's not a "survey" (which was done weeks ago), it's the real deal. I called the local distributor (on the poster) and she says that once the forms are submitted, it will take 2 weeks for the processing and installation. So I'm a bit confused here - what's going on? Hi Bro, I also staying in Domain 2... Yach saw the TIME poster in the Domain 2 Security Guard..... i have registered as well but till now no one called yet..... however upon my checking, calling TIME and the contact number stated in the brochure.... Its seems like TIME only selling bandwidth to 1 company in Cyberjaya, this company will provide the service to Domain 2.... the company is Setia Haruman Technology Sdn Bhd... the contact number in the brochure is Setia Haruman Technology Sdn Bhd number. Anyone called you after you submit the form ?

QUOTE(Scolaris @ Oct 16 2012, 05:34 AM) I have a question: how do you setup your telephone? During the installation, it wasn't done since my extension plug got a defect and I don't have a spare. So now I do, and I have no idea how to turn on the phone. I can't get a dial tone or anything, and the phone display just shows "Base 1". Incidentally, I have: a. connected the telephone wire to the ONU, b. connected the phone to the power supply, and c. turned off and on again the entire thing (ONU, phone and modem) But still getting zilch. Is phone service even included in the package? I think it does, because otherwise why give me a phone to begin with? Hi Scolaris, We r not able to use the phone yet. The technician told me dat he will contact me next week to set up the telephone. Guess they have not configure the voip in ONU yet.

QUOTE(jjj2 @ Oct 17 2012, 01:34 AM) Hi Bro....
Pls check whether the VOIP light is on ? It must b ON in order for yr phone to work.
If it's ON, then connect the phone line to TEL 1 port at the back of the ONU.
I believe yr subscription is Internet only without astro right ? If so, the Installer shld hv done it on the day of installation.
For IPTV voice it take vry much longer time as you need to wait for TIME to remote configure for you.
Hi jjj2, I did not find any VOIP light in the ONU. I got 2 light constantly on which are Power and PON. Another 1 light is blinking which is LAN1. LAN2 - LAN4 no light cause no cable plug into that port. LOS also no light. Tel1 and Tel2 also no light cause i didnt plug the phone in.

QUOTE(jjj2 @ Oct 17 2012, 08:00 PM) VOIP light not light up means they have not configured & not Voice not yet activated.
The Cordless Dect Phone once sit on the dect, the Tel 1 light will not ON, when you take up the handset to make a call, then only Tel 1 light will be ON. But VOIP light must be always ON.
Hi Bro, I didnt see any VOIP light in my ONU. I only have the following light indicator TEL1 TEL2 LAN1 LAN2 LAN3 LAN4 LOS PON Power May i know which light you refer as VOIP light ?

Hi jjj2, No wonder i'm not able to find the VOIP Light, my ONU different from yours. My one is Huawei HG8240. I attach the picture. However i manage to find this information in Huawei Website. Seems like TIME has replace HG850a with HG8240. This post has been edited by mugen_jon: Oct 19 2012, 12:11 AM Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(jjj2 @ Oct 19 2012, 10:51 PM) Hi Bro...yup the new ONUs u cant see the VOIP anymore...so need to use phone to test... when the Installer gonna come over to configure for you ? If you have the Service Order (the Order paper they used to configure for you during Installation), then I can guide you to configure the Voice settings. If not, then you have to wait for them to come over, or u can chase them by calling 1800 18 1818... Customer's complaint is the most powerful..LOL Hi Bro, I dont have the Service Order, only have the Work Completion From which didnt contains much details of the setup. Guess have to wait for their Technician to call. If you have instruction or step by step to setup the VOIP in the ONU, would you please share with me ?
