Hi All,

I just installed the 8MB Time Fibre Home package, have a couple of questions hope someone can advice me:

1) I turned on the 50MB boost and tried to do a speed test (to local server), but what I got for download around 4~5Mbps and upload around 30~40Mbps. So, is this 50Mb boost only for Upload speed? What is the idea reading I should get for Download and Upload speed test?

2) I changed the stock router to my own router (ASUS N56U), besides edit the PPOE ID and password, is there any other things I should change too?

Edit: Another question, just now tried to activate the boost again but the option is no longer available after I login to SelfCare account.....any idea why?

I can't access the internet now after i restarted d router.....if i changed the selfcare password, do i need to change it in my ppoe setting too? Btw, i did try both old and new password in the ppoe setting too but still not able to access not sure whether is Time problem or not....will try to call them later to check...

This morning can connect again and tested with speedtest.net, everything back to normal. Getting +/- 50MB for local server already.

However, for most of the overseas server, speedtest result is only less than 5MB....which I guess is normal, right?
