I called a Time agent to ask for the prices and confirm the ones on the website.
She confirmed there is a RM249 setup fee for a 12 month contract.
Has anyone managed to get this fee waived?
I'm on a one year rental and will likely move once it ends.

i see there were some issues connecting yesterday is anyone having issues today?
I can't seem to connect to PPPoE with Astro IPTV by Time by using LAN ports 1, 2 or 3. Both router and pc say they cannot get IP from PPPoE.
While I'm able to get online by using LAN port 4 which is the one used by IPTV.

Just FYI The settings I get when connected to port 4 are
172.168.238
255.355.240.0

DNS 172.16.1.1
dhcp-astro-iptv.time.net.my

I'll be calling Astro Customer center now to see if they can fix the issue from their end

Update.
I tried connecting to PPPoE from LAN port 1 and it worked!
So all is good now.

Seems it was not connecting yesterday and I must have changed LAN port from fiber router to wireless router without remembering which one was the correct one.
So IPTV LAN 4
Wireless router LAN 1
