After 13 torturous months, I will finally be moving from Neo Damansara Block C1 (aka The Dark Cave of No Internet) to Metropolitan Square Block D.

Although I've checked on the Time website already, could you please confirm coverage at Metropolitan Square Block D for Time Fibre? I just find it odd that Unifi covers the whole of Metropolitan Square EXCEPT Block D while Time does.

And two more things:

1. What's the upload speed like for the 15mbps and the 30mbps plan? For comparison, when I was on the 10mbps plan on Unifi, I get upload speeds between 15mbps and 17mbps. Can anyone share their speedtest screenshots please?

2. Any promos?

When I had Streamyx back in 2012, there was this one month where we only had 12 days of service. TM promptly deducted the lost days from my bill as this was a significant loss of service.

Even if Time did guarantee a certain percentage of uptime per month, for example 95%, 8 hours of lost service translates to a mere 1.11% downtime in a standard 720-hour month (30 days x 24 hours = 720 hours).

Time did mention in the letter that "We regret to inform you that we are unable to make any adjustments or reimbursement, as the issue has been resolved within 24 hours". So, next time, if internet goes down, hope that it lasts for more than 24 hours so you could be eligible for a reimbursement. But then again, do you really want to lose internet for more than 24 hours?

On another note, I'm still waiting for installation in my unit though. I just hope Time calls me up soon for an appointment.

My 15mbps will be installed this Friday morning and I CAN'T WAIT!

On another note, how do you activate boost anyway?

Thanks for the update, JJ!

Customer service hotline can't even give an ETA. Good to know it'll be good in 1 to 2 hours.

Is it just me, or did my internet just go from 15mbps to 1.8mbps?

Restarted my hardware multiple times already and wow, I could barely watch a Youtube video.

Ok now here's something new, just wanted to check if anyone experiences it as well.

No issues with standard 15mbps speed, happily downloading away on Steam, watching videos on Youtube and Twitch. I suddenly get the urge to put Boost on, so my 13GB download on Steam goes faster.

As soon as I confirm my 2-hour Boost, download speed goes down to around 300 to 600 kilobytes per second. Restarted my modem and router multiple times, still stuck on this 300 to 600 kilobytes per second.

I just went back to the Boost Manager, and now I see a notification "BOOST service not available".

Could they at least have the notification a bit larger, and in bold, red text? LOL

Anyone knows if customer service can switch off the boost I did, just so I could go back to the normal speed?
