Can you show your screenshot? Do a speedtest to London's Vodaphone server please?

Thanks! Seems like it's almost the same as UNIFI. Any other TIME users here can get below 200ms for London servers? Sry, coz the main factor for me to switch to TIME would be the latency/ping, otherwise no point going through the trouble.

Hi Bro,

I'm not sure whether this would work as the VOIP thingy configured in your ONU has a vlan id together with your Fttx login credentials.
But I'm sure the other product Time offers is able to work.

Check my PM ya.

Cheers smile.gif

For accurate speedtest,it is advisable to connect to cable instead of wifi

So if I connect white fiber cable directly to notebook,I can start surfing as well?

Sorry for the stupid question

I just got my TIME through the Astro IPTV package..... So far so good. Faster than Unifi without even boosting it.

Hi all,

I've been using streamyx (512k > 1M) all this while and am thinking it's about time to get faster internet at home. Anyone in SS2 using TIME fibre broadband? How's the connection?

If I decide to sign up, I'd rather not do it through the TIME website and leave it to their system to assign someone to handle my application.
I've looked at the list of distributors for the central region and the closest to me are Soluxis Technologies, Hexamatics Servcomm, and Micropurple. Anyone have any experience with any of these companies. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated as well :-)

Thanks in advance.
Cheers.

Hey Bro ...don't say like that smile.gif I don't think it's a stupid question.

You cant connect the fiber cable directly to your notebook, instead you should connect notebook to the router.

Thanks.

Am using the 6mb with 30hours/month boost to 10mb package. Yesterday run a speedtest and if I still remember correctly, 5ms Ping, 5.5 DL and 6.2 UL. Is this ok? This is non boost. However, I experience slowness in playing streaming video in Facebook. The rest are fantastic.

Hi bro jjj2,

Thanks for the reply. Reason I asked bout those distributors is cause I thought each distributor has their own group of installers so I'm trying to find the best installer in my area. Also, I thought if I signed up with a distributor close to me, any problems would be solved faster. Please enlighten me on this.

Thanks!
