So my internet Fibre package pay to who ah???

btw, realized one thing...the 50Mbps boost resets end of the month....so even if you subsribe middle of the month, it'll reset by 1st. So in your first month...please boost kaw-kaw before the month ends...haha.

Anyway, internet too fast liao...now nothing to download....so sad.... tongue.gif

Sad to say, my 50Mbps boost is still not functioning from Day 1 till now.

I've been emailing back and forth with Time CS but so far there's only 1 call from them and the rest are the standard answer of "we have forwarded your concern on the speed boost issue to our support team for their attention and immediate action".

I have question about 2000mins free calls. This only for IDD( mobile and fixed line) or can be used for local/domestic calls? If local calls, then worth the money.Subscribe to 8Mbps at RM129/month,value of calls is RM100,assuming calls is RM0.05/min.

Appreciate anyone from Time or its agent can clarify

Singapore should not be any problem.

Please report your case to TIME CS at 1800 18 1818 & get a Complaint ID to follow up later.

Are you from KL ?

The 100Mbps issue has been gradually fixed stage by stage.

Many of the customers previously had this problem are now ok.

Hey guys. I'm currently using 1mpbs streamyx and can no longer live with such slow speeds, so i'd like to upgrade to fibre soon. Now my questions is which should I choose? Should i go for UniFi or Maxis Home Fibre? or TIME..

Can you please list down the pros v cons ?

From what I know or understand so far, maxis home fibre seems to be the better deal because it's 148/month for 10mpbs while unifi is 149/month for 5mpbs?

I'd also like further info;
1)whether installation service, etc is free or charged
2)which is more stable? i seen people complaining about unifi being slow while I also see people saying that maxis fibre doesn't allow torrent or p2p.. and then there are people saying that maxis home fibre ping is high? Is this true? as I often play online games and this would be bad right?
3)does unifi or maxis home fibre cap torrent speeds?
4)and what about add-ons like for example unifi got the hypp thingy.. I tried reading it myself on the web but I don't really understand it :s

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I have came across TIME also.. It seems TIME kills off unifi and maxis home fibre without a doubt.. 100mbps @ rm180/month(100gb quota) or minimum is 8mbps @ rm130/month(unlimited, not even a "until furthre notice" it's just plain unlimited) .. anyone have any say on this? Hmm..

Too bad not coverage for landed area. But i called their customer service, the officer is definitely better trained, more knowledgeable than maxis or DG.
