I've downloaded a 4.4GB file this morning. Completed within 50 mins with Star Downloader. No issue at all. Where are you from?

I flashed my TM 615 with ddwrt 2 weeks ago and very stable very powerful haven't crashed once. When i log into the router page it shows only about 10-15 % cpu usage when i max torrent on 5mb connection. Only problem is i want IPTV and dont understand why cant it be configured to do so?

One more thing why cant the fiber modem be configured for IPTV rather then be connected to the Dlink. it will be more efficient. I want my 615 to be for internet and home networking and the fiber modem for IPTV. This way there is no need for any new routers as the Dlink 615 is more then enough. the problem is the TM firmware.

ps. my dlink is running a lot cooler in temperature wise after the flash. I guess ddwrt is much more efficient in cpu and power management then the TM firmware.

Once you have flashed with DDWRT, you can say bye bye to IPTV. Check the guidance given in the 1st page.

i found some-sort-of solution. off the router and on again... if still slow then do that repeatedly a few times till the connection smooth.. i was thinking is it bcos some IP many ppl using so tats why slow . on-off few times to get a "good" IP finally then can connect smoothly?

i mainly do massive download from my company's server in Spore, and US for work purpose.

Try refreshing your IP address. It's pretty hard to get the 60.xx range. I feel the 210.xx range is good
