Guys, I'm planning to get Unifi, but thing is, I wanna keep my current fixed line number and use it to replace Unifi's new number. Is that possible?

QUOTE(DrBlueBox @ Jan 22 2012, 03:32 AM) 1 - No, since it's using it's own VLAN (500 for data and 600 for IPTV) and existing routers are not configured for seperate Vlan. You can get a third party Unifi configured router from lowyat plaza by Asus, TPlink and other vendors tho. My side I said not to install the phone and TV, they just said OK and left after all the installation was done. So I think they won't force also 2 - Unifi will come with a modem that splits into a connection to your router (that will handle dial up) and your phone, Your router will not in any circumstances be connected to your phone. 3 - Yes, but usually they will ask to connect to a TV anyways as to test the service before you sign the agreement. |

Mine still halted since 2PM. Just one thing only if not I'll be using Unifi now. Currently they have some other contractor over but they went out again.

QUOTE(nairud @ Jan 31 2012, 10:57 AM) Guys, 210 and 110 has slow browsing. 175 is fine. to those living around PJ with Unifi, check your IPs. is it 210.x.x.x? then have a look at your Connection Type at whatismyipaddress.com; Dial-up. using 210, you'll have slow browsing. check on your side for me. i have to redial few times to get back ip 175 with the connection type Broadband. I've been seeing the same ip210 frequently since end of last year |

QUOTE(debbierowe @ Feb 13 2012, 11:08 PM) the IP Address (cmd>ipconfig) Set your laptop/PC to static IP. does it change from time to time? so i check ... it has changed... 192.168.0.100 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.1 then in your portforwarding section, set private IP to 192.168.0.100 ; done aiya, forgot something. Setup > LAN Setup > bottom, select your PC/laptop and click " << " ; then change the IP Address to 192.168.0.100 so that particular IP will only reserve for you.
