Got my installation on 04/02/2012 at high rise. Suppose installation only took less than 2 hours. The technician setup everything perfectly but the wireless router give problem almost 1 to 2 hours cos no internet connection. Technician go back downstairs to the STB room again to test. Everything seems perfect and up as per the technician.
Go back up to my house to configure the wireless router again, but still no internet connection. The technician suspect my unifi password is wrong. Luckily he got other customers password used other customers to configure the router and it work. Damn the technician said !@#$%^$ to the TM back office who gave him wrong password. Now he asked me to temporary used other customer password(account) to use the internet first. Like that also can really Malaysia Boleh land. He said will fix it for me and come back tomorrow which is supposed today 05/02/2012. Wait wait until 6pm SMS me cannot fix and come to my house cos got emergency case outside. I said alright then since I got internet to use and mybill haven't start yet until my account is settled. Just that I still cannot use Hypp TV but got internet and telephone will be nice already. Hehehe.

Hope the technician will come tomorrow to fix my account and setup everything perfectly with the Hypp TV too. Fingers crossed.

Good oh. Actually not so nice also. Well that's their fault. I managed to setup the HyppTV myself using the id and password given to me through email. Like that also can. Look like unifi actually not sure secure.

What to do this is BOLEHLAND mah.

Why can't they just SMS you the password? and you can change it yourself in the router? While you're doing that, save the other person's user/pass for future use. :-)

Yeah oh. Why can't they just SMS the new password to me and I setup myself. But I think the installer still need to come back to my home to fix all the problem cos I haven't sign the form saying that installation completed.

Eh how to save the user password? I don't think can save loh cos it is in asterisk. But I know the username haha.

Why they didn't give me free 15m Ethernet cable ah? My TV is a bit further to my router and PC. Duh. The LAN cable given also not long enough. Really lousy installation.

Well as usual FFK me again. The technician didn't turn out to finish off my installation. What a joke it is. Install my UNIFI half way and promise to come back tomorrow until besok besok pun sudah busuk. I will official send an email complain to them already. Anyone know what is the email to make complain?

Even told me the 15m cable no longer free. What a joke again.

First of, thanks to rattan (LYN forumer) who's been patient with me so I could finalize which package to sign up. In addition, it's great knowing forumers like him are willing to lay down their reputation on the line to help other forumers. The contractor he works with were efficient. The friendly 2-man team (young looking dudes) arrived 30 minutes earlier than the appointment time, listened to where I wanted the Unifi box installed (I wanted to make it not visible from inside the house) and got to work. All was smooth until TM's side had some trouble doh.gif  - one of the installers said there was a "mismatch". Not sure what it meant but he followed up the case with TM on the spot and it was resolved within 1 hour. smile.gif
Something I'd like to know too.. the word prorate was jargon to me. LOL! tongue.gif

Damn, if I know rattan will definitely apply unifi from him. I apply my unifi from cold call. Now my installation upside down. The stupid installer do half way and left my place which my internet still not up. Today, I have enough already called the CS to complain and luckily the CS listen to me and will send another installer to fix and solve all my problem. Then suddenly the stupid installer call me back pula said tomorrow come solve my problem. Hahaha. Look like he heard my complain and sudah takut.
Once called CS my internet is up hmmm, must be heard my complain already. Now only the Hypp TV still haven't setup for me. Hope the stupid installer will settle it for me and bring along the long ethernet cable. First tipu me said no such thing as free 15m cable celaka.
Very frustration this 5 days. Appointment for installation on 04/02/2012 today already 09/02/2011 haaaiiiiiii.

I don't understand why you blame the installer. It's your mistake for not doing proper research. It Is what it is the installer can twist how they want.  I order my unifi online without going thru agent and when installer come they want charge me rm400 for pulling network cable. They fix standard installation within 2 hours. If they delay report to unifi. As long as you don't sign the paper they can't charge you. If you are so pro you should get external contractor to do the cabling works they come they just do termination and testing for you.  Stop blaming the installer it's real life they charge me rm5 per meter for network cable I go buy a network cable 30m and pay for labour also they take.

Most kids today they just want unifi but they never think how they should install and what should do so installer come get slaughter.
It's their way of making money the usual standard installation wiring is fugly nearly 7/10 just let them install ugly.

Yeah true also. I just blamed them not finished off my installation in 1 day. I don't mind the wiring is fugly but what I don't like they did my installation half way and left without internet up. To be frank with you I pity them too came to my house three time also cannot get the internet up. Then yesterday myself go call the CS and the internet is up. Duh. I think the command center didn't activate my account that's why the installer also cannot get my internet up. I just furious is that look like all the installation and call I do it myself.

Now the Hypp TV also haven't setup for me. I also can't wait any longer and I setup myself. Found out it is also very easy to setup smile.gif but I have to put my TV very near to my PC cos they didn't give me the 15m Ethernet cable. I think I go buy myself better.

Now I have to wait the installer to come to my house fourth time lol to get back the 'Acceptance Form' which I haven't sign.
