Not sure if this is the signal problem or what. I am currently using 4mbps streamyx package and whenever i go to speedtest.net to scan the download speed is always between 1 to 2 mbps only. It never reach over 2mbps. I am using wifi now btw. So if I get VIP5, will my download speed around 2mbps only?

Maybe your line attenuation is too high. That is why you can't achieve 4mbps. Complain to TM and make them come and check. Or you will be paying extra every month for something you can't utilize. smile.gif

Unifi people came this morning and then survey my place and when they wanted to install the cable from outside green box to my house, they say the underground piping is blocked. And wanted to charge me RM700 (Told me the original price is RM1395) to do a reroute. Then negotiate like mad, finally RM350 they were ok. Then they tell me they are not getting any response from the green box. Haih, now need to wait again. rclxub.gif

Oh then can I actually get the same people to come over tomorrow to install it. Actually they told me they can't finish within one day for me cause too much job to do. They were suppose to install the FTTH to my house and set up the BTU inside my electric room first. Then tomorrow, they will come and help me to either pull RJ-45 cable to the TV and computer area or use Powerline adapter, and help me to connect the phone line into the PABX system. The contractor told me they charge one of my neighbours here RM1000 for the job. rclxub.gif
