I have posted a while ago one matter. I have personally done a test on several devices. All devices gave a different output. So if your wifi coverage on your phone is good and you are still getting slow speed, you can do nothing about it.

what is your phone model and what is your laptop model/spec. Your internet speed will depend on your phone spec. I got old LG smartphone and browsing the web is very slow. I also got another phone, dual-core phone, browsing the net is very fast (both connected to the same wifi).. I don't think mobile phone can beat pc/laptop in term of browsing speed due to the spec, but with smartphone nowadays, the browsing speed is getting better and more comfortable for users.

yea i know of coz mobile device speed cant match laptop...i've tried on 3 android devices...sgs2, sensation and xoom....all also got browsing speed problem with unifi...or maybe izit the router compatibility issue?...previously no problem at all when on streamyx...

Go to your friend's house with UniFi and try out then. Better if they have a different router so that you know it's router problem  wink.gif
