tested and proven!

This afternoon, using wireless on speedtest.net * ping : 35ms Downloand : 0.56Mbps Upload : 0.46 Mbps *

Using LAN cable * ping : 7ms Download : 5.67Mbps Upload : 4.35Mbps

HOLY SHIT SAW THAT DIFFERENCE.

Anyone else experiencing this problem?

And some users change to Asus or TPlink just to fix this wireless problem? or there's other additional benefits as well?

Ain't wireless all you need from that router?
Anyway, I changed to TPlink and never look back. Long hours/days of uptime is just as normal as ABC. My DLINK super troublesome, not on speed but stability. It disconnects, restart, hang(especially in web GUI),... ... ... When LAN cable isn't convenient, you can only choose to replace the router. The cheapest one will do, TP-link TL-WR841ND. I'm using that. Perfectly fine. Even not fine you still got 2 years warranty just in case anything goes wrong.

what cable? RJ45 (ethernet cable)? That one will solely depends on contractor. You need to nego. But if all that is needed is run the cable on the wall by nailing it using that cable holder, you better save your money and do it yourself.

Honestly I think its just the wifi connectivity problem, it shows excellent signal coverage but the speed is extremely slow.

Well for now, will buy a lan cable and connect first to my laptop, will change the router later maybe in 6 months time.

Thanks for all the info btw!!
