Pretty simple, limit your torrent speed, both upload and download. If your true maximum is like 520 kB/s, drop that speed down by 80~100 kB/s to 450~400.

Tried that before, lowered down to 50kB/s and still have dc. Is there any QoS setting in DIR-615 to prioritize gaming packets?

Not yet but the question for everyone is if it already implemented, will you still sign up? Contract is 2 years and TM can implement the cap anytime within these 2 years. If you think you can live with it, by all mean go ahead and sign, else stay with Streamyx. Don't want you to cry foul if TM implement the cap tomorrow. Just my 2 sen on this faq.

Yes true, for earlier termination (before end of 24 months contract) its RM500.
However I had a customer, who had a valid reason managed to terminate his unifi without any penalty. Honestly the process was very very tedious and time consuming. Also he had luck on his end. wink.gif

Someone mentioned in Astro Beyond thread that he get to keep all the equipment plus getting new one after move house but no mentioned of penalty. See quote below.

Thanks mate, great help you are!

Just interesting to know the difference between Unifi, for example, and ASTRO. Because when I subscribed to Unifi half a year ago, and moved after 3 months, I got all new modems, phone sets, boxes, etc etc. I asked if I didn't have to return the "old" ones or use the "old" ones in my new place, they simply said "no". So I guess these are mine to keep now? Interesting ...

the point is the tm contractor dont need to drill my wall since im renovating my house.

So i'll just lay an empty pipe from the distribution box till my store. so when they come and install, the fiber will just pop out to the store and install the btu inside there along with the router.

Is your taman's Unifi using green box or pole? If green box then there should have been an existing manhole for telephone service to your house. You can use the same trunking for Unifi.
