Oh then can I actually get the same people to come over tomorrow to install it. Actually they told me they can't finish within one day for me cause too much job to do. They were suppose to install the FTTH to my house and set up the BTU inside my electric room first. Then tomorrow, they will come and help me to either pull RJ-45 cable to the TV and computer area or use Powerline adapter, and help me to connect the phone line into the PABX system. The contractor told me they charge one of my neighbours here RM1000 for the job. rclxub.gif

Hello,

I would like to know what is the best method to subscribe with unifi nowadays?is the reseller with booth are reliable or tmpoint for the sake of peace of mind?

Thanks

Just look up Rattan, the guy has been very helpful through out my application. He is reliable and you can count on him to get things done. I signed up with him and he was able to schedule my installation within a week but to see TM screwed it up and i consulted Rattan and he offered to help again and the best part is he got me another installation appointment in just 3 days!

I just got my Unifi installed, and this is the first post that I am posting with it!

Kudos bro!

Hi,

I've being informed by Unifi agent that there is a promotion whereby I just have to pay RM1 monthly instead of RM26 to retain old number. When I ask someone at TMPoint, the agents have no idea regarding this promotion.

Since you're an agent yourself, you can verify that this promotion (RM1 per month to retain old line) is not true?

Getting bad download speeds today. 100 KB/s average. Constant timeouts to my server in US.

Is it just me or are there others experiencing this also?

Thanks

It's okay. Just called Unifi account department.. She mentioned that promotion is true but not rolled out yet as it's still under test phase.

My friend is having problem with IPTV as well. It's laggy and jittery. All he sees are artefacts and boxes. Internet is okay though.

Hi guys,

I have just managed to replace my router given by Telekom with a TP Link WR841ND model. It works perfectly with good reception EXCEPT the following situation:

I have 2 deskstop PCs connected to the router by cable and 1 desktop PC using wireless USB receiver. If lets say 1 desktop PC connecetd through cable and 1 desktop PC using wireless are running, both will be running smoothly. However, if the 3rd PC connected through cable is being used, then the wireless desktop PC will get disconnected for a while, like 3 minutes, before it gets connection again. Anybody knows why? It really baffles me.

Could be your network card on the 3rd PC.

Sorry, let me explain again. When either or both of the wired desktop PCs are turned on WHILE the wireless PC is running, the wireless PC will lose connection for 3 minutes or so. Isn't it weird?
