WiFi? better thn Dlink anytime..confirm..i tested already...my house is condo..Lift beside my unit...when i wait lift reach my floor..i use smartphone to check...still connect wif not even one bar but still can surf fb yo...not like Dlink..no coverage

oh ya..for tis model..ada USB function yo..

Not sure if this is the signal problem or what. I am currently using 4mbps streamyx package and whenever i go to speedtest.net to scan the download speed is always between 1 to 2 mbps only. It never reach over 2mbps. I am using wifi now btw. So if I get VIP5, will my download speed around 2mbps only?

been there, done that. I also subscribed streamyx 4Mbps before. The speed, just like you, most of the time, it's just between 1 to 2Mbps. After switching to unifi, the speed constantly above 4Mbps all the time.. Usually 4.5Mbps.. and sometime 5.5Mbps..

Its always going to be 5mbps. +- 5mbps

Any UniFi subscribers here have got a call from Noble Nexus (03-5575 1752), claiming they represent TM, then they confirm all your personal details like email, address, etc? When I asked what is it for, the caller said she doesn't know, it's from a file given by her boss.

WTH??? How all my UniFi subscription information is known by this company?

Get the TP Link that have Unifi sticker on the box, no need to flash. I got this one last month, 5 minutes job and it's done.

Hmm having problems connecting to trackers for the past few days. Most of the time it will give an error "Tracker refused connection" or "tracker not found"

Look the the instruction above, just click Unifi Mode and setup up your new router as usual. No flash, no nothing, simple, anyone can do it.

Strange, anyone encounter this weird connection prob for unifi?

My VIP5 is easy to connect during the morning/afternoon, but at night around 8pm I cant connect unifi.

1. If I stay online from morning/afternoon the connection stay online until i sleep.
2. If I switch on modem to connect unifi @ around 8-9pm, it wont connect at all.
3. If I was online from morning/afternoon I turn off @ 8-9pm to reconnect, I cant reconnect. rclxub.gif

this prob happens almost every night.

Whats wrong with this? anyone is network pro can tell me why?

Not yet but the question for everyone is if it already implemented, will you still sign up? Contract is 2 years and TM can implement the cap anytime within these 2 years. If you think you can live with it, by all mean go ahead and sign, else stay with Streamyx. Don't want you to cry foul if TM implement the cap tomorrow. Just my 2 sen on this faq.

Maybe your line attenuation is too high. That is why you can't achieve 4mbps. Complain to TM and make them come and check. Or you will be paying extra every month for something you can't utilize. smile.gif

just installed unifi last sunday......actually what's the prob with the dlink router ?...saw lot of ppl here wanna change....my self got no porb yet....torrent can get 7xx
