Usually they wont entertain you except you know someone high up inside to help you.
This issue happen to one super VVIP celcom no before must go meet the manager then twist our way around until he said only way is to convert to postpaid and they let us keep the expired number. I wasnt easy must wrte so many letters and get some help
Your case i wish you luck

go to Maxis Centre
from Maxis replies on their forum, they appear to be more lenient than before
and you may be able to recover your number, if it was not sent for recycling
or failing that, recover any credit and have it transfer to a new line
can your hp still register with the network? in my recent experience, there was about 2-3 weeks between the expiry date and finally getting Sim Card Registration Failed - if in that interval, you may have a chance

I don't see that got anything to do with maxis more like user firmware outdated. U want it and u don't want commit then someone else got it u blame the person. Already stated clear when it expires

QUOTE(MyRedz @ Jan 20 2012, 04:52 PM) same with me,i was late by 2-3 days and my beloved 6 year maxis number expired so sucks maxis!!!.i can't retrieve it back,if someone has used it,i will offer him some price for that number..how did things turn around Bro, u try going to maxis center in sunway pyramid. My number was on the 1 year plan, and missed the last chance to reload, so it cannot reload; everything also cannot. When I went there (day 0), still have signal on the phone, put in request to recover expired prepaid (u need to register postpaid).. 3 days after that (day 3) sim card registration failed.. damn sien, no news yet.. waited about 4-5 days (day 4 or 5) then they will call u and say can recover, but need to come back to maxis center to reg postpaid.. I recovered my number just a couple days ago..registered for the value first $30 plan This post has been edited by ceo684: Jan 21 2012, 09:27 PM
