Just a healthy debate, not finger pointing at you (or Stewpik) personally.....
Its just a matter of opinion, but in this case, the opinion of one party causes inconveniences and grievances to the others.... its always easy to see things from your own biased perspective and be blind to others....
All I am saying, double parking is wrong irregardless of reason.... and it pisses me coz the ones who does it thinks their reason is the best in the world, and that gives them the right to do so.... Have they ever even gave a thought to the car that you are blocking???
What if it's YOUR car is being blocked and you need to rush for a meeting, or worse, your wife is expecting you back to help her deliver your baby..... so will you be so understanding for the double farker if you are the one being blocked??
I don't agree with double parking, but sometimes it is really neccessary. Like my office there, Atria under demolition....previously it was a nightmare, but MPPJ has re-drawn the parking to vertical...it is a bit better now, but still not enough parking space. But so far i haven't double park...because i scared my Inspira kena scratch....haha...the other day i have to circle 15 minutes only can get parking after came back from office. Previously, before they re-draw the parking (and some of the office have move out)...don't even dream lar....once you parked there in the morning, sit tight and don't go anywhere!
There was one day i was on half day leave in the morning(b4 the improvement), totally cannot find parking when i came back in the afternoon...ends up then i drive home, parked my car and then take a taxi to the office...

I feels double parking is fine, if you have exhausted all method of finding a legal parking, and you're not there for too long (maybe just drop off to buy something or to the bank for a while). What i hate is people who don't even bother and straight away double park without even bother to try. These are the people who really should be shot. Then, there's also the people who don't even bother to put a phone number on the dashboard for contact or horn until the whole street came out to look, but the car owner still nowhere in sight. These people should be C4ed.
