Err...they gave you proton blue oil filter?? For that price i dont think its a mitsu oil filter...better check...

Downside is quite obvious...

In your service log its stated at Proton oil filter, plus proton already say, if used non-mitsu oil filter engine warranty will void...so its your call to get it fixed or not...i would screw them for not giving a compliant oil filter...thats why i always watch what they do to my car and know what parts i am getting

You read what proton replied to sleed regarding the oil filter (in this thread but dunno which page)...all replies he got was to use mitsu oil filter, not proton genuine parts aka made locally aka blue filter..
