Hi guys,after watching some cool videos of R/C Rally/Scale Stage..now gatal to get one. So I looked at Tamiya's XV-01,DF-03RA,HPI RS4,Kyosho DRX-VE..and all those are either too expensive or no stock. So,going for a cheap build,which kit can easily convert into a rally car? My budget is around RM800 for the complete build. Oh btw,I'm from East Msia.

The HSP's seems like a decent platform..which one is easier to convert,Xeme or Flying Fish? They look like they have the same chassis though and only difference are the tires? Do they come in kit,pre-built or RTR? This will be my first hobby grade rc but I don't mind building a kit up. BTW,got any recommended shops from where I can get one? DRC seems to have no stock, so far I've found the shops below,are they reliable?

Here in Kuching also no rally track AFAIK, but I plan to build one as there is a piece of empty land right next to my house and I've been day dreaming this past couple of days about r/c rallying on that land, haha.

Yep,totally no high expectations on the HSP..just wanna get something cheap to try out. Besides, not gonna race it, just some light bashing/rallying. MyMegaStation also no more stock for HSP FF/Xeme. Found a couple on Mudah though,and seems that Xeme is no longer in production? DRC Toys even told me they stopped selling them 'coz parts are hard to find. Is that true? Well, gonna check out my LHS first,or maybe some toy stores. Eric, i noticed you bought a HSP EP on-road car recently,which model did you get and mind sharing what did you do/purchase for the rally conversion?

hii guys, i plan to try into rc world! hehehe.. any recomendation for buggy especially for new comer? if can i want to test cheap2 one 1st, then slow2 naek2.. hahha

waaaa.. still lot reading need to be done! haha.. what diff for both batery, and fuction for the balance charger? i thought can charger only by using stock charger. hehe 

it is ok for newbie to try use 1:8 as starting? what is the cheapest model in the market for this size?

between hsp and vrx, which one is much better?

helo there sifu.im a newb in this.been following this tered a long time and got myself poisened by u guys.haha.so i got myself HSP xstr.i know its not good but i kept it in brushed form as suggest by eric.but im planning to buy thunder tiger or team magic buggy soon.how much does they cost and is the spare part easy to get?
