wow, what 3D printer you use? Resin? ABS?
are the wheels strong enough to sustain the weight & downforce?
you only print the body & wheels? not the chassis?
and where you get the decals?
I'm using classic PP3DP UP! printer, mostly using ABS filament since its very rigid (depend on printing thickness) and durable for normal bashing (but not suitable for heavy geared parts unless its NYLON filament). Chassis is hard because it need more precise printing (0.1mm resolution) and specific filament since chassis contain lots of moving parts causing more wear and tear on 3d printed plastics. So better build just the appearance kit for longer model's lifespan. For the decals i downloaded at Tamiyadatabase.com then resize, do some minor adjustment and print into A4 paper for manual cutting. Btw the TAMIYA Grasshopper 3d print file (*.STL) now are ready for free downloading at my website.

Free download 3d print project: 1:24 scale 1984 TAMIYA GRASSHOPPERAlright! I've completed my 3d model design and 3d print the model, i've published the 3d print file (*.STL) and also attached decals in zip file where you can download it for free at my website. (

Recomended to print it using ABS filament material with atleast 0.2mm printing resolution and don't forget to read the instruction first. Hope you guys enjoy my work and 3d print this classic 80's R/C off-road buggies. Next i'm off for another new 3d project. See you soon.
