AWESOME micro size 1/35 R/C crawler!
Yay! i finally bought one...suppose to arrived early as my own Christmas present. It took me about 12 hours of build just to assemble this tiny jeep! But the final product was rewarding! I painted flat yellow, brown tops, with gun metal color fender and added some weathering like color to make the jeep body looks a bit old and worn out for scale looks. Electronic are stock except with upgraded alloy wheelsets and knobby tyres. Will post my cool video in action later.

Btw just go ahead enjoy my gallery photo of my 1/35 scale Orlandoo OH35A01 4WD Jeep build here: http://www.supermotoxl.com/resources/galle...a01-4wd-crawler
Will dump more photos and media soon. smile.gif

Today i workout on tidy up the wiring, remove heavy stuff and lower the CG. Now the interior Jeep looks well arranged, tidy and the lower CG helped the Jeep to have better side ways tilt angle for stable crawling. The weight also been reduced too which makes it easy to climb obstacles. Will post another video in action again soon to show much of its improvement after some mods.

Sharing my other project to compliment the recent Orlandoo Jeep. Just completed my micro size 1:40 scale 4x4 Hummer R/c crawler based on Yokomo nanoqlo kit. Here's direct comparison between the popular 1:35 scale Orlandoo OH35A01 Jeep and 1:40 scale Nanoqlo mod kit the Hummer.

The FPV conversion story
So i've converted my Huanqi 739 buggy to FPV capable cockpit style driving that took me 5 hours of conversion works replacing all the stock electronics except the motor stay in. Upgraded with Hobby Wing 60A waterproofed brushed ESC, High torque Tower Pro digital servo, 4CH Radio link and RC4G radio unit. FPV hardware fitted with nano size 600TVL CMOS camera, 5.8ghz 600mw mini video transmitter, Hobby King Simple OSD and E-MAX micro digital servo for camera/helmet pan capable hooked to CH3 on receiver. Overall its easy to install on 739 due to its wide open layout compare to my other build. 5 hours later i had a perfect FPV buggy that doesn't look like FPV at all keeping it scale and normal without looking suspicious.

So the next day i took it out for a test drive behind my house which is nearby beach and it was awesome! The FPV mods went perfect without problem and had a good clean video/radio at 900 meter range behind trees, road curbs and etc just like my FY03 build.

Overall it was a blast to drive and the feeling was different compare to some of my FPV car/trucks/off-roader because of low slung cockpit make it feel like you're driving a Formula 1 car but on sand and rough tarmac. The control was handful yet thrilling because its on 2WD, so there's lots of tail spin, slippery back whipping around make it feel more challenging to drive, realistic and also this buggy have massive amount of power from the rear. It feels like driving a dragster. It really makes my previous 4WD driving looks dull. 2WD is awesome! After a day at the beach the buggy was easy to clean since its 2WD and tight body shell cover completely seal off all those dense dirt. I'm happy with the conversion. This will be my awesome beach and tarmac basher! Will post the video in few moments

Btw here's the gallery links of my build: http://www.supermotoxl.com/resources/galle...39-desert-buggy
