QUOTE(aaronpang @ Nov 15 2005, 11:38 AM) Yup count me in but have to wait for a while bcause my area dun have any MBB branches. (Maybank right?) QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Nov 17 2005, 10:10 PM) sorry i just notice about this thread... BTW, other than dryfood, maybe u can get them some chicken parts. Can try to find some of the chicken meat suppliers. I took SPCA as my final project during college years and when I was there to meet them, some of the workers there are boiling a big pot of chicken necks.i do occasionally buy packed rice (those 15KG) and bring old newspaper for SPCA in ampang. i personally feel that buying rice is better (and cheaper too) as compared to get them doggie food. dog food is kind of pricey, the more famous brand, the higher the price. and somemore, different dogs consume different kind of dog food. so, it is wiser to get rice than dog food. QUOTE(Gazard7 @ Nov 19 2005, 09:26 AM) I've just donated to them my magazines that I've collected for the past 10 years. They came to collect at my house in 2 vans. One Suratkhabar lama apek scolded me for giving to them free. Dem stupid old manQUOTE(nairud @ Nov 19 2005, 10:28 AM) I have already emailed PAWS and SPCA about this subforum for them but there's no reply from them. It's been almost a week already since i mailed them U should call them instead of waiting for their reply. Their website is being handled by a third party - so, unnessary enquiries will be put aside I assumeQUOTE(panasonic88 @ Nov 24 2005, 10:04 AM) not only SPCA needs help, i came across this notice yesterday in thestar newspaper...PAWS in PJ (old airport there i think...i been there once only) also needs help like old newspaper, dog food, old clothes, dog toys etc. Yes, its true. PAWS is in a far worst condition compared to SPCA. Why dun we help them first? |

QUOTE(providence @ Dec 31 2005, 09:45 PM) Hi providanceThank you for donating... You're right PAWS is definately more needy than the SPCA. BTW I spoke to a friend who volunteer for SPCA, she advised me that PAWS more needy of the two shelters. I'll PM Gazard7 to check if he is OK with switching to PAWS. BUMP for others who are interested to donate RM50 more. This post has been edited by aaronpang: Jan 13 2006, 08:10 PM |

Good afternoon all... small update, the donations would go to PAWS after a visit to PAWS and speaking to volunteers I understand PAWS is more needy and could use our help.
CNY is around the corner, so I've increased my donation to RM 100 from an early Ang Pow If anybody has Ang Pow's to spare. Please send it this way for a noble cause. edit: Corrected my sentence This post has been edited by aaronpang: Jan 19 2006, 12:39 PM |
