An overly concerned issue. Your mechanical hdd will likely fail much faster than any marvell/intel ssd.

i prefer 'over reacted' wink.gif
the ssd will fail within 2-3 years IF users are writing a data 10GB per day until 2 years non-stop. even on datacenter, still cannot write 10GB data on one drive wink.gif

for example my ocz vertex 3 240GB says it MTBF can lasts until 230 years brows.gif

so nothing to worry about. my grand grand grand children still can use it icon_idea.gif

Did you cloned your OS or fresh installed it? Cloning from a HDD can cause problems.
problem such as? hmm.gif i just cloned my ws08r2 from old hdd to a new ssd. booting 4 times faster and benchmarking software give amazing result. it is depend on what kind of software that you use to clone the partition/drive.

for example, i am using "EaseUS Todo Backup Advanced Server 4.0"

I don't get it, why are the benchmarking giving me bad result? sad.gif

can you describe again:

1. what model and size of your SSD?
2. your system specifications, motherboard, processor, ram, power supply etc.?
3. what kind of operating system than you used?
4. how do you make your partition?
5. what is your SSD speed and which SATA port did you connected your SSD with?
6. which chipset driver's version did you install?
7. which SATA mode did you choose, IDE compatible, IDE enhanced, AHCI or RAID?

don't trust everything that a benchmarking software tell you. they have different method to calculate read/write speed. for example, 1024KB text/ascii file with 1024KB binary/application file is still a same size, but take different timeframe to be written/read to disk.

thats why you are getting different value from different kind of software, for example, atto, crystaldiskmark diskbench and so on.

if the manufacturer says some model can read 550MB/s and write 510MB/s, ask them what kind of method they used to measure the speed.

get the application, and use it. see if you get the exact speed. wink.gif
right now the only software i use that can match the on-paper value is ATTO.
