QUOTE(jeopardise @ Jan 15 2012, 01:52 AM) I agree ORI set has its advantages usually because of the warranty service by the manufacturer. I know it's probably been asking alot but is there anyhow I can purchase apps without using credit card like using prepaid card or something? For AP set you have to make sure your seller has good reputation and reliable. My opinion is if you buy Neo V, and realized u needed that exmor tech, you'll switch to a new phone next 1-2 weeks later (maybe). If you think you can survive without it because you can handle shooting pictures in low light, then maybe you'll wait after ICS update then you'll change? I can understand my usage, and doesn't have to switch phone too often like less than a year. |

QUOTE(FatalitY @ Jan 15 2012, 02:28 PM) Giant Kelana Jaya has one, or Balakong's Jusco also has it...=) Its quite difficult to get a shop that sells though, so I can only identify these two. It aint impact absorbent but it does give u a firmer grip and reduce the bloody oil stains on your phone. =) too bad I'm not in KL or any other mainland. |

QUOTE(SiuYi @ Jan 17 2012, 02:51 PM) supercharge how?actually like this. I unlock bootloader using sony ericsson one not following your step at first. Then when it comes to root I follow your instruction. Got confused and mix up so I decided to relock bootloader again. After relock I can't turn on the phone. Ask Mr google but nothing help. So I though I should just use your rooted method back hoping it could start back and yes it did. I'm new to this root, flashing thing. Is there any guide for dummies like me to better understand this. I can't install custom rom because it need clockworkmode recovery thing which don't have SE model. I read somewhere it need to flash kernel all that. |

QUOTE(SiuYi @ Jan 20 2012, 12:06 AM) only if you can bear with plenty of noob question from me. I just want to know what custom ROM for PRO? How to flash ROM and custom Kernel? Is install zip file from SDCARD consider flashing too besides using fastboot command prompt? or other software? Do I actually need a custom kernel? If things start getting worse, what do I have to do? like steps by steps. is everything in the file you provide on root guide will be useful in the future? mann, I fell bad asking you this many question. but more will come tho for me to better understanding this root thing. Jailbreaking easy to understand but I want challenge. |

QUOTE(adz83 @ Jan 21 2012, 02:20 PM) Hahaha. No problem. I think not all rooTed their phone. It's an option. I myself haven't root yet. A week got my PRO I already rooted it. Just experienced my 1st auto restart. Reset the phone to factory settings and monitoring. Guessing one of the apps. and also, this is my first android too. Last time bought myself iPod touch 4 , within a week I already jailbreak it. |

QUOTE(SiuYi @ Jan 31 2012, 05:11 PM) now now..what firmware are u using? 42 or 62?stuck at SE logo or reboot at SE logo? if stuck means bricked. get a 42 rooted ROM zip and save it in ur sdcard, boot it in recovery mode. The middle one. I think 53 or 52. Well it all started like this. I try to install custom Rom which I think CM7 if not mistaken. After reading it it says that it need custom kernel in order to install the Rom. There's an image file include in that folder and since I don't know how to use command prompt, I flash it using flashtool. (I don't know if I suppose to click on 'flash kernel using HootBoot' or just 'flash kernel'. Then, it all started. 1st, when I try to reboot, my phone always go to recovery mode. Try to revert back, flash image the one in your folder then it start to stuck at SE logo. Last sekali I just root back everything. It works now! Good thing I already back up everything. add-on: i went through xda and found out that u can only root 62 if u did unlock the bootloader previously. u didn't, am i right? konglatulasen. |

QUOTE(SiuYi @ Jan 31 2012, 08:07 PM) uish..u wanna try cm7 hia? tat 1 still not stable ler..cm7 u can install using recovery mode also mar, noneed use flashtool. and ur last sentence, u say u just root back everything...is it u RECOVER back everything, instead of ROOT back? I don't know mann, but I don't think I recover back the backup data because I already tried that when I stuck at SE logo, nothing happen. I read somewhere that certain things like FM radio and HDMI only not working. I don't use that much that's why wanna try. |
