Wotan server OTA won't check the phone has been modified or not.

PC companion will check if your bootloader has changed, it won't update. You'll get error phone has been modified. If you root and has unlocked bootloader, you still can update using PC companion.

already done that still no detection....

when it says to push the service button b4 insert the usb cable, which button i need to push...is it the menu button???wotanclient guide is quite confusing for me

i don't know which step did you miss, but it's just fine with me.

my step.
1. download both USB Flash Drive and wotan server client 3.
2. install USB flash drive 1st, by clicking on the usb flash drive file.
3. run wotan server. make sure phone is disconnect with the computer.
4. wait till wotan server download neccessary file
5. switch off phone, remove and reinsert battery.
6. when wotan server ask to connect phone, hold back button, then plug in the usb cable.
7. wait till wotan server detect your phone, then release back button.
8. when phone setting option available, select necessary option.
9. wait till the phone is processed.
there you go.

challenge accepted. cost me a good 6 hour to downgrade from fw .62 to .58, root, flash custom kernel at last CM9.0

p/s: actually i've to flash my phone twice by using wotan server because the first time i flash cm9.0, i accidently removed the phone while it boot up, and accidently flash to another bootloader, causing it to stuck at bootloader.

p/p/s: will compile later step by step how to install cm9.0. tonight to tired 

oh, for those who wondering, cm9 = ics  cm7.2 = gingerbread 2.3.7. latest os for our phone is gingerbread 2.3.4, but if you can wait, the official ics would arrive late this month or early next month

Other than rooting the phone, any other ways? But xperia pro and xperia play nearly identical specs so how come our xperia pro lags till pause when playing games, takkan xperia play pun play a bit then pause then play a bit then pause?

bro bro, i want ask u. i found that my car gps can use the extended 1, but my PRO cannot use. my PRO using X5, not m3gps. the files names are way too different. the downloaded one is R51, but those in my PRO is R21. urs is m3gps or just normal X5?

Tats the file I download lor..the file comes with an installer,right?then I extract evything on the desktop,then start copy n paste into my PRO sdcard.under navisea>maps>malaysia,correct? But wheni start papago,it pop out 'cant locate map'.adehhhhhhhhh

morale: it is not about copy and paste, it is about extracting it into the sdcard and selecting it to x5 android. adesss~
