or if you wanna load only a minor part of it at a targeted location, use the attachMovieClip or something like that.

erm.. based on ur situation.. i assume u want to import swf directly into a fla

u just go to import and import swf - this step will make ur fla have many keyframes of the imported swf.. however.. the script, interactivity, sound doesnt include as well.

and there's a several way to manipulate imported swf to fla. in my cases.. i usually use a swish MAX to get cool text looping or appearing by publish them as swf 1st. later on when i imported it.. i put them on graphic or movie clips.. depends.

if u require some example.. heres my link

http://flavert-tutorials.blogdirve.com in 1st series = inserting swish into flash

hope this helps.. smile.gif

can import..but u get all the entire file in just 1 layer..
but you can see how they layer their animation with it..
A good way to learn...but some files contains passwords...some software can penetrate it

if u want to convert swf to fla.....
very easy.... just a couple of clicks....

just,
use this software..... Flash Decompiler (by Eltima Software)

then u can open n edit the fla file with ur macromedia flash......
