Base elevated with dungeon bricks. That should do for preventing all these wraith/clowns.

I'm sure if it's a large map, a little high will be fine. Wraiths fly only 3 blocks on any surface and cant go higher so any thing built more than 3 blocks in between floors should be fine. So far i dont see any clown destroying my elevated base. But just in case, dungeon bricks will prevent any damage at all.

No one's online. I'll probably watch for the first time though. And i dont know how it works cause server is not up yet. Are we suppose to create a new char and enter?

Not sure if i can join, exam half way. Even if I do play also I'll be playing public servers. Disappointed with the amount of players in lynterraria.

actually my gf is the one playing that server and she met another Malaysian there too. It's not at all less popular here in Malaysia. It's just people max out too fast and got bored. Or they go to a free stuff server and spoil the game themselves then quit.

haha i actually dont compare. Because the servers Jinxx host are simple. I kinda like it because it feels like a private lyn only server not aiming too high.

TShock is the word man. You know when you play lynterrariapvp. Warping and building protection is important.

The efforts you guys put inside servers are already very well done, just the community is very little. Which is kinda sad.

Servers like lynpvp is so well built that im curious why didnt they bring it to become a dedicated server like most of the servers out there. the warps are perfect, mini-games are perfect and there are still places for home. Oh and speaking of which, the server im currently into is because of the freedom to build things as long as abide by the rules. Of course community is the most important thing i look for. I use to login lynterraria everyday and no one else login or only doomsday which bores me.

oh I've done only very little, he... he built almost everything underground. Im more like one who fetches items lol.

I have exams on Wednesday, although i wanna play so much. Very itchy wanna dig something.. =x

Actually making it public or not is not the issue, it's just that i think most of the listed players on first page never logs in anymore. Maybe bored. Maybe busy. If like half of the listed players goes online. It'll be fun already.

dont play alone because it's gonna be boring. Gold armor with nightmare pickaxe, quite near to what me, matt, doomsday have achieved with our newbies.

By all means contain corruption first. Hallowed usually lost biome fights with corruptions. And Hallowed despite hard, is still better than corruption. I dont mind having it spread.

May i ask what is the pattern of the underground hallow and corruption for your map JinXXX? a V or an X?

Those are better done with a team, faster that way. I helped hermitminer with his server that day. We done it in a short while.

meteor aint hard either, just need to know how to mine without obsidian shield. the server has a meteor landed. Go explore around and start digging.

Great, newbie map NPC house at newbie spawn is all demolished by someone using explosives. That's it. I wont play on this server unless it is Tshock powered. Building protection or item ban is important. And at least builders like doomsday, matt and me should have at least the privilege to protect. It's not like anyone comes in and play at all. I HAZ A DISAPPOINT.

Closing wont do good. The thing you should do now is TEdit the base into green, blue or pink bricks so that explosives wont work. As for the NPC base at spawn forget it. If there's a need, i'll build one. But no one is playing the server so I dont think there is need yet. I wont be playing terraria for now though. Mostly my girlfriend will be the one playing but she found a server she likes so much so the more reason she's not coming back to lyn's.
