Adamantine ores are only located in pre-hell biome, where you can find lava.

My main world is still not into hard mode.
I purposely generate another small map to harvest hard mode stuff. And statues

hehe smart. i made small maps to hunt for statues as well.
best place are dungeons and underground near lava.

get necro or jump straight to molten.

If the dungeon's too hard, get to the jungle for the jungle armor first.

After gold you should get shadowscale stuff, go to the corruption, much easier than jungle and dungeon, smash some shadow orbs for decent weapons and kill the eater of worlds

just smash shadow orbs for meteor, then meteor armor + space gun + a few jumping here and there = win skeletron. best alternative will be jungle.

actually there are 4 different types of armor after gold.
jungle (magic)
necro (range)
shadow (melee)
meteor (magic)

so its all up to u on what u like. tho i'd say getting shadow armor is the easiest of 4.

Depends on which ore you can find in abundance. For my world, silver appears alot of times so I made use of it to get silver armor first. You world and how you dig around may have more gold than silver, so it depends.

I decided to start a small world first to gather resources and ores then move to medium size world. Well i do find alot silver ore in my world.

nope, only dynamite can destroy ebonstone blocks.

bombs can destroy ebonstone actually.

ah, looks like they changed it in a patch sometime, they couldn't be destroyed by bombs last time
