QUOTE(rippein @ Apr 10 2012, 12:15 PM) lumia 800 and 900 comparison some elements like "platform" and "data bearers" not available too for the 900. maybe the specs not yet complete. haha.Seems like Lumia 900 doesn't have the Nokia Maps and 3D accelerometer. Doesn't have FM rasio also. Kinda letdown. |

QUOTE(Kyoyagami @ Jun 11 2012, 09:35 AM) Haven't actually purchased one. Didn't see the need to at the moment. You used a Windows Live ID registered to singapore address right? If you do make purchases, would appreciate if you could tell me about it. Wanna know the processThe good thing for me was having a Singapore ID, somehow the App Highlights showed me Malaysian apps. So I ahve a limited number of Malaysian apps while full access to singapore apps. |

QUOTE(Kyoyagami @ Jun 13 2012, 04:09 PM) Agreed on the IE part. But if i'm not mistaken, for IE's case, launching it from the Start screen opens up a new page. Then closing it would be a lot easier. That trick doesnt work for me.I need someone to verify tho. Anyway, how do I get the autocorrect off? its not in messaging or typing settings |

QUOTE(Kyoyagami @ Jun 13 2012, 05:42 PM) You mean the People hub? Gotta link my contacts to it one by one, right?Added on June 13, 2012, 5:44 pmNote: I hate the SIRIM sticker at the back of the phone. And please take care of the silver Nokia name. Don't spin it around, unless you that place to have scratches (sudah kena). |

QUOTE(Kyoyagami @ Jun 13 2012, 05:51 PM) Yes. Once you have your facebook account logged into, you can link it. It is smart enough at times to give suggestions on the account in Facebook to link to your contact, so it is a little easy. Nvm.Shouldn't take long. I had 100 something people in my contacts and took me some good time looking at people and their details. Very fun even. This post has been edited by bendonarticx: Jun 13 2012, 07:05 PM |

QUOTE(marauderz @ Jun 14 2012, 01:18 PM) You do not need to close apps on Windows Phone. 3rd party apps like whatsapp stay suspended right? I won't know if I got any messages unless I turn it on- 3rd party apps are all suspended when they're not being used, they do not consume CPU power. If an active app needs the memory the suspended apps are using their suspended state will then be deleted. So you really dont have to worry about background apps eating battery, cpu, etc. etc. - 1st party apps like people hub, IE are the ones that stay 'active' when they're not being used. But the timers and activities will usually stop when people are not actively using. Again, if the OS needs memory, then they'll be shut down and the memory reclaimed. Summary is, don't worry about the number of apps that show up when you hold the back button! |
