that is old news. its just leaked jelly bean which is not suitable to use daily. i already test it and found too many bug. now the firmware is B229. u can check at xda there is specific topic discussing this phone. mine rooted and using almost 5 month which is no problem or so ever. the RRP price for this phone currently quite steep due huawei also have D1 quad (better spec) which selling about 1k as well.

i recommend this phone due its really light and thin, suitable to your daily usage. battery time you can get about 4 hour with screen on (stock) and 5 to 6 hour (rooted). daily use about 9 hours with 3g on for whatsapp, emailing, light call and sms plus 30 minutes gaming. sounds great right?

Rooting enable u to install superuser.  U need it to gain administrator right.  From titanium backup you can disable/freeze other useless apps. It will save battery a lot.

Im not the P1 user, Im just helping my wife do the research. Im using Huawei Mediapad. But so far so good for me. I got custom Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and doing well hehe

already upgrading to jellybean + Emotion UI 1.5..
my phone keep freezing after i turn off the display using power button..

as the result, i downgrade back to ICS.. hehe..
