nissan quality not bad, just that the juke's interior design in really dissapointing, v outdated.
the console red drew so much attention but look like an erected dog penis to me. also the colour doesnt match with the seat's bolster or the door trim which are maroon. that makes me think, wth is the red doing in there? |

QUOTE(be7a @ Jan 10 2012, 10:28 AM) 150 is too much I think. A Juke without taxes starts at around 11000 Euro... like RM 43k. Of course higher spec can drive up the price, highest spec (190 hp 1.6 Btw., the Fiesta, in a spec similar to what is sold here (without the expensive gearbox) is also around 20k Euro, and it's sold for RM 82k here. So it IS possible to offer a car at the same price as in Europe. This post has been edited by kadajawi: Jan 10 2012, 11:56 AM |

QUOTE(yamato @ Jan 10 2012, 08:04 PM) Oh man... 1.6L... VW has a 1.4 that delivers 180 hp. The Nissan Juke 1.6 turbo has 190 hp. Not enough for you? VWs 2.0 does 270 hp. CC doesn't really matter, when you look at some contis you'll find that the bigger cc engines are sometimes cheaper than the smaller ones, because they deliver less power and (sometimes) higher FC. The Fiat 0.9 TwinAir has 0.9L and only 2 cylinders, yet delivers 84 hp, they also have a 1.4 that does 200 hp.Size doesn't matter (much), it's technique that counts. |

What's wrong with a 1.6L if it has enough power? I'd rather have a 1.4 than a 2.0, if it is the right 1.4 (VW or Fiat) and the wrong 2.0 (most Japanese ones...). Lower FC, more performance. What's not to like about that? Except for a lack of bragging rights with uncles perhaps?
180k for a Juke is nuts. But for a 1.6 not necessarily. And surprisingly that 1.6 from Nissan seems to be decent on paper. |

Should refer on singapore Nissan website :
TURBO CHARGED PERFORMANCE 190 horsepower, 0-100km in 7.8s with a 1.6L MRDDT DIG-T engine. JUKE 1.6L JUKE 1.6L DIG-T Engine Code HR16DE MR16DDT Bore x stroke (mm) 78.0x 83.6 79.7x 81.1 Capacity (cc) 1,598 1,618 Max power (kW(PS)/rpm)) 86(116)/6,000 140(190)/5,600 Max torque (Nm/rpm) 158/4,400 240/2,000-5,200 Compression ratio 10.7 9.5 Fuel Consumption (L/100KM) 7.0 L/100km 7.7 L/100km MR16DDT DIG-T ENGINE For more power, opt for the 1.6L MR16DDT DIG-T (Direct Injection Gasoline Turbo) engine that is lightweight and uses direct injection to improve combustion to optimize power, torque, economy and emissions. Combined with the compact turbocharger, the result is an engine delivering 190 horsepower, equivalent to the performance level of a 2.5L engine. |

I've been in a Camaro, big loud engine, but a Touran MPV with 1.4L can almost keep up |

QUOTE(kimsim @ Jan 11 2012, 06:52 AM) A rental one in Germany (1.9 TDI I believe, and not the powerful ones) that easily did around 190 without changing into 6th (forgot there was one), I think it was the previous one (Touran GP) and my cousins Cross Touran (GP2) in Malaysia (only a short test drive, few km, and then passenger). From the butt feeling the Cross Touran seems to be able to keep up with the Camaro (from 1999, the "small" V6 I think), though the sound of that one was very impressive, and it was mated to a useless American auto gearbox. Perhaps the Touran can't keep up, but it's not that far behind. |

same category as rav4, overpriced compact SUV.
more or less for hippies that need a funky ride, not really an economical or practical ride for everyone. hence... poor demand. i just dont see a solid reason should TC supply. |

i would say it depends. if they bring in the turbo charged version and with competitive pricing, there would be demand...

QUOTE(yamato @ Jan 10 2012, 10:33 AM) imo, juke-r wont even come to msia. Everyone drives a GT-R, no one drives a JUKE-R. They actually do sell them, but you have to send them a mail. And they won't tell you the price (maybe they will once they have checked you are able to afford it... after all it's probably a "if you have to ask..." price tag).those can afford one would go for gtr instead since the motor is same only platform is different. The JUKE sits below the Qashqai (which TC should bring in... it's a good looking car, 5 or 7 seater some more, price is decent (I think around 16k Euro starting price, so even with Malaysian taxes it won't be _that_ bad). It's like a mini SUV. Think Nissan Micra/March in SUV shape... a bit bigger though. |

Why everyone keep comparing GTR with juke R?? Do you even know what's a GTR??
Nissan GTR R35 3.8litres twin-turbo engine, 480HP. Second hand also rm400k to rm600k. Much better than juke R. Nissan juke R 1.6 190HP. Rm180k. Btw, GTR is 4 seated. Added on December 16, 2012, 10:03 pmJuke r rm180k. GTR R35 rm500k. What makes you think that if you got money to buy juke r and you could buy a GTR? Anyhow, if want JUKE, normal version. Fly over the sea to Indonesia. Its officially there. (no need grey import, AP, whatsoever there)
Oh btw, its only available in 1.5L. So for those hunger for big CC, you will be disappointed. but how to ship back, is another question. Lol. Sauce: http://www.nissan.co.id/id/web/models/JUKE/home/hpage.htm And oh btw, convert the rupiah to RM. you will be surprised.. 3100 rupiah= RM 1 And yes, OTR price. That means tax included. http://www.nissan.co.id/id/web/header/header_3921.htm This post has been edited by SleeplessEyes: Dec 16 2012, 10:26 PM |

QUOTE(kadajawi @ Jan 10 2012, 10:25 PM) Oh man... The Fiat 0.9 TwinAir has 0.9L and only 2 cylinders, yet delivers 84 hp, they also have a 1.4 that does 200 hp. Check out this Russian modded Nissan Juke-R.Size doesn't matter (much), it's technique that counts. 750hp drag race monster with lovely exhaust tone. |

QUOTE(amon_meiz @ Oct 31 2012, 06:00 PM) QUOTE(Bubble Ring @ Nov 1 2012, 09:33 PM) Hello... Which cave you came from? QUOTE United States based tuner AMS Performance has set record power levels and performance numbers for the R35 GT-R. Their Alpha OMEGA performance package for the R35 boosts output to 1,884 brake horsepower and 1,562 N·m (1,152 lb·ft) of torque and boasts 60–130 mph times of just 3.1 seconds. After adjusting the boost to 29.5 psi, the AMS Performance GT-R reaches a top speed of 233.1 mph. An AMS tuned R35 GT-R was the first in the world to post an 8 second quarter-mile time at 169 mph (272 km/h). Their OMEGA package has of recent gone 8.62 at 173.8 mph (279.7 km/h) on a lower HP test pass. The AMS Performance Alpha OMEGA system is still in R&D stages and represents the top-of-the-line GT-R performance package from AMS Performance, ahead of Alpha 6, Alpha 9, Alpha 10, and Alpha 12 packages; each respectively with approximately 600, 900, 1000, and 1200 wheel horsepower when installed and tuned.
