I doubt this car can sell here. Too ugly. It could be our generation's Fiat Multipa. wink.gif

Oh man... 1.6L... VW has a 1.4 that delivers 180 hp. The Nissan Juke 1.6 turbo has 190 hp. Not enough for you? VWs 2.0 does 270 hp. CC doesn't really matter, when you look at some contis you'll find that the bigger cc engines are sometimes cheaper than the smaller ones, because they deliver less power and (sometimes) higher FC. The Fiat 0.9 TwinAir has 0.9L and only 2 cylinders, yet delivers 84 hp, they also have a 1.4 that does 200 hp.

Size doesn't matter (much), it's technique that counts. thumbup.gif

mr smart guy,
read my post again, i said 1.6L for 180k for a jap label is nut.
im not talking about how much hp it has.

What's wrong with a 1.6L if it has enough power? I'd rather have a 1.4 than a 2.0, if it is the right 1.4 (VW or Fiat) and the wrong 2.0 (most Japanese ones...). Lower FC, more performance. What's not to like about that? Except for a lack of bragging rights with uncles perhaps?

180k for a Juke is nuts. But for a 1.6 not necessarily. And surprisingly that 1.6 from Nissan seems to be decent on paper.

Should refer on singapore Nissan website :

TURBO CHARGED
PERFORMANCE
190 horsepower, 0-100km in 7.8s with a 1.6L MRDDT DIG-T engine.

JUKE 1.6L JUKE 1.6L DIG-T
Engine Code HR16DE MR16DDT
Bore x stroke (mm) 78.0x 83.6 79.7x 81.1
Capacity (cc) 1,598 1,618
Max power (kW(PS)/rpm)) 86(116)/6,000 140(190)/5,600
Max torque (Nm/rpm) 158/4,400 240/2,000-5,200
Compression ratio 10.7 9.5
Fuel Consumption (L/100KM) 7.0 L/100km 7.7 L/100km

MR16DDT DIG-T ENGINE
For more power, opt for the 1.6L MR16DDT DIG-T (Direct Injection Gasoline Turbo) engine that is lightweight and uses direct injection to improve combustion to optimize power, torque, economy and emissions. Combined with the compact turbocharger, the result is an engine delivering 190 horsepower, equivalent to the performance level of a 2.5L engine.

no offense,

my opinion is that for a 1.6L even with enuf punch, is like....
said having a small penis but its ok coz have load of sperm.

1.6L@190hp vs a 2.5L@190hp (assuming for the same price tag), i would go for the bigger cc any day, thats just me.

we cant stop ppl from having different opinion than ourselves, which make every individual special.

I see. But no, not cause lots of sperm, but the right technique to make women happy wink.gif Big penis and no clue what to do is pointless. Also it hurts when it's too big but the technique isn't good. wink.gif

I've been in a Camaro, big loud engine, but a Touran MPV with 1.4L can almost keep up laugh.gif Less road tax and less FC is also good smile.gif

is it because at higher end of speed, bigger CC still better?

like 1.6thp and 1.4 twincharger, at higher speed like beyond 150kmh, 2liter still faster? similar hp.

A rental one in Germany (1.9 TDI I believe, and not the powerful ones) that easily did around 190 without changing into 6th (forgot there was one), I think it was the previous one (Touran GP) and my cousins Cross Touran (GP2) in Malaysia (only a short test drive, few km, and then passenger).

From the butt feeling the Cross Touran seems to be able to keep up with the Camaro (from 1999, the "small" V6 I think), though the sound of that one was very impressive, and it was mated to a useless American auto gearbox. Perhaps the Touran can't keep up, but it's not that far behind.

I spotted twice a black Juke at MRR2 Melawati and once a red Juke at PJ Jalan Universiti.
Both registered with KL plate.

i think that is either Tan Chong test unit or grey importer.

Heard that TC is also doing road testing for some time already. if all is well, maybe we can see TC bringing it in to Malaysia.

hopefully it does....

same category as rav4, overpriced compact SUV.
more or less for hippies that need a funky ride, not really an economical or practical ride for everyone.

hence... poor demand. i just dont see a solid reason should TC supply.
