Do they still do built in wardrobe without base, back panel and/or one side panel? At the back or one side is a wall.

What is the pros and cons? Is the price cheaper or higher?

It still can be done. Just that you are using the existing walls as the back and sides. Without the backings, the contents will be in contact with the painted walls. Some people may feel that it will not look neat & clean.
If you go to the right cabinet maker, he would be able to do according to your requirements. Of course, it would be some slight saving on the material.

ask aluminum contractor to do it.

inside the cabinet and put those adjustable wall mount rack. I'd do it deeper, so can put more things

the door just put slinding railing. use glass sliding would be nice

pros: cheaper, more solid, flexible, less termite and mold problem
cons: kinda ugly if u dont design it nice

If you don't want the side and back, why not consider using curtain wardrobe?

It's basically having a curtain rod across and hang the curtain to cover. tongue.gif
