Does all this thing bring any meaning to your house?

I understand that all this thing will bring whatever good thing to the house and owner. But I see the list is so long that I wonder each of this thing do bring any meaning or not.

Like

1. avoid quarrel and disputes -> what this mean?
2. Do or hold auspicious/meaningful items when walk into the house. My brother in law insist we roll a pineapple from the main door into the house before stepping in. Some said throw shillings, some said bring ang pows, oranges of lokam. --> what this mean?

and so on and on.

Sometime very hard not to follow right? This thing just too many to follow. Which each person will create a creative way over the time and generation.

I believe in science and logic where probably will intepret to another meaning and not logic too for me.

Yup, I believe in FS. It sound mystery science more to me.

Sometime I very confuse. If list down all this thing need to do just base from your guys write here is kinda long.
