noob question here..

if i buy note now, rather than waiting for with ics..can it be upgraded from gingerbread to ics..?

sorry if the question been answered b4..

=)

hi,

don't worry about ics for g-note as samsung has announced that there will be ics for g-note in this year. g-s2 already got ics but only for some countries only. do search for other article regarding ics on g-note. I'm positive that ics will be available for g-note officially.

I got some question for the g-note owner, i read about a review stating there's some problem when having a video call? and what about other problems?

I'm thinking of getting g-note although it's still a doubt whether if i should get this due to its 5.3" form factor, but what i like about this phone is its unique feature especially s-pen and wide range of sensors that may be useful for me in the future...

any opinions?

tried cf root but failed
dl kies
placed the zimage into the zimage file
then i clicked the not-rooted-yet.bat

it stucks at waiting for device! D:
*
i suggest u to refer to rootgalaxynote.com website, this guy offers automated rooting application for win/linux/mac platform, easier than installing kies+odin, after that can use cwm manager to flash firmware/kernel.

any suggestion on a good battery saving manager? if can, wan them to be transparent, not shown in notification area...

i rooted using rootgalaxynote.com
but cant install cwm
when i click on adb from the file.
the commandprompt blicks really fast.
*
put the adb folder into ur c:\ drive location, open up command prompt and access from there.

u cant open adb directly.

e.g

extracted the whole adb folder inside mydocument folder. u need to move it to c:\adb\ or whatever the folder name is, it will be much easier to access the folder from command prompt when it's located in c:\ drive.

good luck tongue.gif

i failed to install cwm yesterday cos of spelling error, didnt get bricked...

weird after installing the apk there is no app x.x
i flashed the bled update thing d

i dont think bled has any interface, it is simply a driver installed to support the led control when there's a notification

maybe u guys can see the battery usage for a while? the enabled wifi one is where i download new apps, flat graph should be self explanatory... maybe if i turn off wifi will extend more? going to the store again about the battery is like a hassle to me, but i did do some calculations about battery usage when im sleeping, 9hr for 2% in sleep mode would make the phone lasts 450hr (theory based calculation).

this one normal?

maybe other owner here with several batts can try out for us and see the differences?
