quite annoyed and disappointed with the note build and quality... i just have to rant again.

2 days back, i was using the phone while it was being charged. there was the usual 'screen sensitivity' issue -- very obvious if you use swype.

anyway, i noticed the screen flickering quite often and an apps was trying to run in the background... notification bar showed driving mode was on. WTF?!? turned it off... and 15seconds later, it would come on... the screen would go to voice talk/ command screen... double press the home button also not working properly...

restarted the phone and it was still the same... screen still flickering and going into drive mode...

then i suspected something. unplugged the USB cable. all the 'problems' disappeared. somehow, the phone was detecting the cable as a usb car dock?!? it's the original charger + cable.

yes another poor quality accessory. already it gives me hissing sound... but now died on me?!? i wonder if i can claim warranty on this.

now have to use the usb cable from the sgs2. actually, i find the quality of the usb cable from sgs2 to be much better. there's even a bulge on the micro usb end of the cable so you'd know which way to plug in the cable, in case you're in the dark, etc... no such thingy with the one that came with note.

what mean frost some item ? can frost social-hub (i'm really pissed off this one  )
errr..can used on stock rom ?

this one not very sure, maybe can try out to hear the differences in their audios, look closely to the earpiece...

to be honest... i choose Note because of the spec and usability rather than looks expensive. Dual-core VS Single-core, dual-core will always wins... u only have S-XL for a day. use that first and see how it match against Note in multitasking jobs. so in a nutshell, ppl like me buy due to our needs of the Note of what it can do better compared to other smartphone as well as the best spec which fit the requirements. Same as Sony Vaio vs other laptop (and Apple fanboys as well). currently am looking for netbook. Sony Vaio Y looks and feel nice and expensive but spec are crap compared to others like Asus 1215B or HP DM1. So looks can be subjective but the spec are 100% objective. Btw, for me, my black Note looks far better than XL long shape. (I owned Desire and ChaCha before)

erm not really. for me when i comparing the samsung galaxy note with my htc sensation xl side by side, i still prefer the note more than the sensation xl in terms of its capability and design. the sensation xl just give me a feel that it is not worth for the price and regret for buying it.

note is better bro but at last it is still up to the user since each person is having different views and opinion.

My Android always rooted within hours of purchase !! Never think of not rooting. And I am never concerned about warranty and so far even with root and roms flashed, I havealways successfully claim warranty especially from samsung and HTC

You can install Titanium Backup to FREEZE any apps you do not wish to appear in apps drawer, or being executed in background. Call history tweaks on cook roms only. You can try looking for such mods at XDA forum without resorting to install cook roms but I think your rom need to be deodexed . So it is as good as insatlling a cook rom, might as well installed cook rom

My best battery usage. Was surprised when i woke up this morning. I just switch to chris 1.7 (LA4) with abyss 3.5 kernel. 3G always on n wifi/gps off. Just 2% drop over 6 hours

i seriously dun think Samsung was prepared to be one of the top leaders in terms of phone sales...

i was near federal highway end of last week and decided to pop by the service centre and see if i can claim warranty (not so responsive screen + hissing sound from charger + the ori cable now causes phone to go into car mode)...

when i entered... wah, so many people. pressed for number... more than 20+ ppl ahead of me. waited... after more than 15 mins, gave up. coz in that 15+ mins, only called 2 more guys. at that rate, i'd have to wait for like... a few hours?!?

saw they now had feedback form. one question was -- how long i had to wait to be served... the answers options they have is a laugh... <1 minute; <3 minutes; <5 mins; <10mins (or sth like that)... the last option was just more than 15mins... my goodness... the questionnaire shows they are not even aware of the actual situation. it should give options like: <10mins; <30mins; <60mins, etc...

i c...hahaha..wokeh..thnx..planing to root my fon today..haha..n the folder is put on the sd card rite...
