QUOTE(XCInspire @ Jan 9 2012, 03:32 PM)
How IN DEPTH u wan?  brows.gif  I know many of us wanna shaft it up potatoes <toot> <toot> <toot>....

Ten reasons to get an adjustables
1) Height of car can be adjusted lower to how many high performance cars are w/o worring about bottoming out
2) Cornering stability very much improved. U do not feel the car bodyroll much, thus enabling you to take corners faster with more confidence
3) When driven sensibly, it does not feel harsh - my family including my mum did not comment or noticed.
4) When driven at high speed, you will feel it hugging the road aka u will feel the road bumps more instead of floating thru bumps (good or bad depending how u want ur car to be - floaty or planted).
5) Braking does not dip the front, braking feels more confident.
6) Accelerating does not cause the car to bottom out behind, so means u feel the car surging forward faster (same effect as ur jogging sneakers, if too soft, u tend to use more energy bouncing off every step).
7) Damping can be adjusted to your liking, the car does not bounce around like stock
8) A must for those upgraded their rims or lowered their profile - "the gap needs GAB"
9) Serviceable, you do not need to change shocks every now and then.
10) Go over speed bumps... NO SOUND.

Ok, so now who still not convinced? U got 3 variants to test drive - 16", 17" & 18" wheel size... sei mei...

Transfer this 10 reasons to get an adjustable to V20 just in case someone missed it...Best Summary!! rclxms.gif thumbup.gif

may b the road problem....
*
Yes, Its the road issue, even on my 18" at certain smooth/newly tarred road, its damn silent in the car, when comes to rough/uneven roads, noisy like hell, the only variation is the road surface condition..dont blame the tyres..

The same with adjustables, if comes into contact with uneven roads surely will be uncomfy, the same with our stock tyre and suspension, if you tried going off road at that speed....see what your friend will say.. so the rule is slow down when you see potholes or huge humps...

22 18 i think, i remember front is 2x only....
*
ok must be 22 18,

his tyre profile also thick, so might be a bit wavy doing cornering at uneven roads...

i tot buying recond one can nego till 1700 ma... new GAB = non nego price  tongue.gif

like i said lo... mod first.... service think later... lol

some more vincent told me gab suspension not tahan geh... 1.x year da pau jo.... may b TEIN can tahan 4 years leh.... so rm400 a piece but service per 4 years still cheaper than GAB ma... i m cheesecake ma.... must think and think and think geh....
*
Yes mod first only think of servicing later... brows.gif

Gab tahan or not? I dont know...but i know all adjustables need servicing come early or late depending what road you always use and how you whack the tables...one would be foolish to think it can last as long as stock abs...so its always better to service every 2 years (latest) and not wait till it fails on you...just my 2 cents..

ya wor... i think so... cause i see people used TEIN also 2.x years da pau  sweat.gif don know one didnt last like stock abs did....
*
Its performace parts ma...stress on the parts are higher...so long you know the consequences of having tables then you can mod ...dont jump because others are jumping, thats silly..but good thing you do research first.. thumbup.gif

To me buying LGT abs and springs cost even more...might not handle as good...so why bother...next best thing is tables only for those want a better handling feel..can resell it later when wanna sell off the car and fit back stock suspension..make sense? laugh.gif

What kedai you open? Who is this fella? Since he has been threatening you with bodily harm and you have reported him, you got a case and can have restraining order against him. You can get your neighbours petitiion to move him out or declare him unsound state of mind.
*
He is not unsound...he is damn sane to know which is a brake line to cut...most of us here dunno where the hell is the brake line located even blush.gif

i was suprised how easy is it to reach the brake pipe, just put ur hands over into the tyre gap and u can touch it already, all it takes is one scissor or knife to cut it, the proton mechanic advised me to put metal pipe casing from kakimotor  sweat.gif
*
Actually, another way is go holland and lower your ride...less fender gap, less space to put hands in... brows.gif

(guess where this leads to next...)
