went to lowyat today and walk pass this quiet looking booth with X100 and X-E1 on display. looks neat, and got a quote of RM4240 for kit lens set or RM4399 for 35mm, only 1 silver and 1 black left, promotion until this sunday.

seems like a nice camera for not too much money! after my disappointment with OM-D recently i might look into this for my next year's oversea trips. looks like going to get even cheaper in the coming months.

X mount lens i think more or less similar in price, now XP1 in many country going for much less than they are and competing with XE1, so i'd say it's quite an expensive combo. might as well get XE1 + 35mm (RM4500+- i think) + RM2000+- for the 18mm and still end up RM7000 or less. 2900 AUD is around RM9000, -10% tax is still more than RM8000, i would buy Sony RX1 instead.
