Hi all,

I have sort of a little problem that I need the help of you Sifus

Attached Image

refer to that picture for the 3 problem.

Problem #1 : It's hard to modify this kind of chassis, so right now my idea is, cut that bended part apart. Then flatten or cut out the bended part to make it flat. Then use a drill to drill a hole from the chassis to the bracket inside the casing to mount the screws to hold it. Is this a better plan or is there any better suggestion from you guys?

Problem #2 : Those holes...would it be better to leave it as it is, or cut out those holes to mount acrylic + fans?

Problem #3 : This part here is Acrylic..is there anyway that I can spray paint over this part? hmm.gif

I have a same casing and modding is indeed very hard due to space.
For problem 1, what are you trying to achieve?Radiator mount? Please note that the PSU is just underneath it with very little spacing between
For problem 2, you can mount fans but size/depth is a problem unless you mount the fans externally. I have 1 fans using 15mm thickness mounted at the back to cool to CPU area but spacing super tight. on the other side you can cut the upper part for see through effect and maintain the lower half(holes) to allow your GC to draw cool air through the vent.
for problem 3, respray can be done but i recommend a pro fellow to do it (to achieve beautiful and even finish).

Other problem. The heatsink. Make sure you get a right heatsink+fan combo. Majority of heatsink+ fan are taller than 80mm

Other than that , this is a good solid casing and loving that compact look.

#1: Right i actually forgotten bout the PSU mount there..crap..cause this casing of mine has been left in one corner collecting dust..no time to mess with it..guess i need to plan again

#2: fans shouldn't be a problem..i'm planning on getting the slim type fan else apply acrylic panel that is extended outward a little so i can mount bigger fans..i'll see how

#3: i was checking some guide and they say i can use sandpaper to scrub off the paint then re-spray it? Unsure hmm.gif

as for the heatsink..right now im planning on shifting the PSU bay to the optical drive area, then use a slim type Optical drive and mount it at the side else an external optical drive so i can use better heatsink, but spacing is really important, i'll need to measure and see how

anyway, thanks for the advice cheers.gif
