QUOTE(shahmizansabatnan @ Feb 10 2012, 10:35 AM) I will get my second tablet this month, Only RM400 http://www.lelong.com.my/superslim-a10-dua...2-02-Sale-P.htm And make sure it's not OEM because many OEM sets has smaller capacity battery and the camera is .3MP not 2.0MP.I think this is latest from A10 tablet not terjojol button. The spec of the actual netpad is here http://www.lyxfsz.com/cn/products_view.htm?id=24 This post has been edited by adamw: Feb 11 2012, 06:56 PM |

No more battery drain problem, however, "Location" is still not available. Connection to wireless also smooth as there is no more waiting (once connect terus boleh browse internet). not yet test with 3g modem as my usb otg cabble MIA, don't know where to get new one in Terengganu I never use calendar so maybe there's a bug. QUOTE(dude06 @ Feb 26 2012, 03:04 AM) Guys, Aurora & Onda VI40 no stock at the moment and I read from sg forum Onda kind of lagging because of IPS screen so maybe that was why currently there's no stock. If Cube U9GT2 you mentioned is RK then I would rather go for Allwinner. BTW, how old is your son & is it for games? Aurora is 7" and Onda is 9.7" so for portabilty would prefer 7 or 8" tablet.Need to get a unit for my son. Was think to get either Novo Aurora, Onda Vi40 or Cube U9GT2 but really have not much idea about it..What do you all think?? Anyone test the above before? Thank you. New Momo 4.03 firmware updated on their website and it solves the time & date overlapping issues. This post has been edited by adamw: Feb 26 2012, 11:14 AM Attached thumbnail(s) |

It's slower than Allwinner. Allwinner is the new star for budget CPU.

QUOTE(ericmaxman @ Mar 15 2012, 09:10 AM) Initial Impressions Nice review eric, tq. You seems to be the lucky one, looking at the aurora thread. For the uninitiated, this tablet (Ainol Novo 7 Aurora) is powered by an AllWinner 10 processor, has 1GB DDR3 RAM, Mali-400 GPU, IPS screen (1024x600), 8GB built in (can option for 16GB is you wish). Very lightweight 7" tablet. Sturdy built quality. No squeaks when pressed. Butttons feels good (volume rocker may take some time getting used to). Very nice laser etched serial number on the back. Doesn't feel cheap at all. When held in hands, it weight just nice. Display Need I say more? Its an IPS screen. The blacks come out beautiful. Viewing angles are excellent. Clarity and sharpness of the text is top notch. Mine does not have any dead pixels or dust stuck underneath. Thank god The OS This tablet is touted as one of the first few tablets to be running on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Having played with ICS on my phone, and another tablet running on Android 3.2 (Honeycomb), I guess I know what to expect. The firmware that came with the device was far from perfect though. Scrolling through homescreens (Irregardless of how many icons/widgets) seems to be rather choppy. And it has a multitude of Chinese apps that came pre-installed. Mind you, this is also one of those few China tablets to come with a generous 1GB DDR3 RAM. After installing the latest firmware from Ainol, homescreen scrolling has improved a lot. Throwing some widgets and icons does not seem to slow it down one bit. And after rooting, one can finally bid those pesky chinese apps goodbye. I've also tested the video playback on this device, and I can say it surpasses my expectations. 720p MKVs (Video: MPEG4 Video (H264)1280x720 25.00fps |

QUOTE(king_eric @ Mar 19 2012, 01:47 PM) i'm interested in the Gemei G9 tablet but seems like no seller in Malaysia (or is there?). all features almost like Onda Vi40.... anyone would recommend or also looking at this model? G9 also no stock at this moment but I think Onda VI40 currently have stock. And something exciting coming to Allwinner tablet soon, built-in 3G with call function. In fact sample should be ready by this week for Momo9 3G.This post has been edited by adamw: Mar 19 2012, 10:24 PM |
