That's just marketing hype, A10 is single core. Also, try get 1GB ram instead of 512MB.

Yes, best wifi among the tablets, can received channels that even my laptop cannot find. But if buying a new tablet now, go for 1GB Ram.

Momo7 Bird, Momo8 Bird or Momo11 Star but since this are fairly new you'll be taking a risk on the wifi strength. Other then that I don't foresee any other problem because Allwinner is very stable now. In fact any other brand Allwinner with 1GB Ram will do.

Momo11 Bird, Eken, Visture, Gemei, JXD. Elijah etc all can run on the same modded firmware. Basically hardware the same so only have to consider battery/wifi signal.

Well, what you say about wifi signal is not true. Most of the tablets are okay otherwise there would be lots of complain. It's only recently this batch of momo11 bird with IPS and their clones that's having this problem. Have checked with ployer and they say they have rectify the problem but how true is that, need to test out the sample. BTW, they are doing MP on 16GB so if anyone out there wants to volunteer as guinea pig let me know tongue.gif

My sample is not momo11bird but clone/oem. They are just doing MP of 16GB now.

Have you compare the performance of the Cortex A9 with Allwinner on a tablet because just found an interesting OEM A9 with IPS.

The clone/oem I have has better wifi signal then Momo11 Bird and HDMI out is working fine unlike some other clones that needs to cut out the HDMI plastic to fit in properly. MP=mass production

If your access point support B/G/N just set it to N only. After setting to N only f you cannot connect using your tablet means it's B/G only.

Most of the allwinner tablets have 3rd party firmware support so even if your brand does not have good support you can easily get it from other forums.

Current test unit 9.7", decent wifi & good battery life but screen flickers & speakers on side only, back don't have so a bit on the soft side like original Momo11Bird. Still on original firmware so will give update on flickering problem after I upgrade!
