have a newb question. after I've rooted my phone, can i continue with the steps mentioned to flash from yakjuxw --> yakju? cause from my understanding, I need to root before I can titanium backup my phone.

I second phantomash you wont go wrong getting this phone. The screen is marvelous and the response is as good as iOS,if not better.

Camera wise its zero shutter lag is great, though night shots may appear slightly more grainy. My comment is based on stock ICS.

I am very new to rooting, but here's best to what i have understood.

Do you see an exclamation mark beside 'Android 1.0' at your device manager (assuming u r using windows os)? If yes, the drivers may not be properly installed.

I wonder how they built that profile -.- i never click on those things pun

I downloaded the 4.0.2 from the google firmwares 4.0.3 out for GSM models? Sorry I ketinggalan zaman cause just started using this phone (and android) three days back

Added on January 14, 2012, 2:50 pmI flashed from 4.0.1 yakjuxw directly to 4.0.2 yakju. So yes. Here what i did. Unlock bootloader, root, backup stock yakjuxw, then only flashed

Actually mskip did a lot of explanations in his faq on post 2 as well. What exactly went wrong? It actually took quite some time for me to flash it cause it was the first time handling with Android OS XD
